- We got 200 people wearing T-Shirts the colours of the different London Underground lines and arranged them to form the shape of the Tube Map!
Thanks to everyone that came along on the day and particpated, with special thanks to Steve and Charlton Athletic Women for the use of their training pitch.

Here's a previous video where we recreated the 'Bars and Double Arrow' symbol of BR/National Rail : • Human National Rail Do...
They were going to do the Elizabeth line but all the people were late and demanded to be paid a ridiculous amount.
brilliant!
Adam how do you know
@@LongHaulPilot r/whoooooosh
@Adam, there's a gentleman, who knows his tube.
Jay Swarrow I went on cross-eliz-purple-rail in august
Wow. So British it hurts

Well, to be fair, as an American viewer (and a huge transport nerd myself), "muggy" in Britain is *nothing* compared to "muggy" in the American southeast. Trust me, here it's been 30 C (in actuality) with the humidity making it "feel" like 38 C.
This was a great way to spend an afternoon! I'm one of the Bakerloo Line people. And I had a lovely chat with Geoff's mum, on the Victoria line next to me!
they intersect at oxford circus...
Really gutted that we got stuck in all that traffic and never made it :-(
We were only an hour away when we had to admit defeat and turn around.
You've got to appreciate the irony here...
Jayfive276 Just noticed it lol
@@Jayfive276 Oh yes!
Good luck trying to get the Tube there though - the nearest Underground station is six miles away!
jen you are still brill i am still gonna subscribe
Thoroughly enjoyable, thank you. A great day was had by the Whitewicks. Oh, excellent video too! 😁😁
This was a really fun afternoon, I'm one of the Central guys. I hope next time Geoff has a wild idea he lets us all know and keeps the emails from this one.
Came down from Yorkshire specially for it, was certainly worth it, Cheers Geoff, and here's to the next idea, you can count me in again.
Make a tube map out of tube maps now.
^this!
Impossible
@@warbler4954 no make a tube map out of tube maps made out of tube maps.
Haha
I thought the obvious next step was to make a human out of tube maps.
I’m watching this on the overground. I feel dirty.
No way! This is crazy. One of the nerdiest moments of the UA-cam. Great!
You ought to submit it to Guinness World Records for largest human tube map
On today’s episode of ‘I wish I lived in London’
😂 me too... I live like across the world 😭 I wish I was there...
You say this, we had one guy come in from Germany and another from Slovenia just to take part in the human tube map!
Drawyah would have loved to have been there but flights from Australia are not as cheap as coming from the continent!
Tonight, at the "Born in the wrong country"...
Same!!!!
Loved being part of this!! Thanks Geoff and team! Green District Line with our Ealing Half Marathon t-shirts, had to be :-D
Well done, You have a great imagination, I'd never be able to organise anything that technical haha!
You should make this an annual social event. Tube enthusiast assemble ! ;-) Maybe 1000 isn´t the limit than?
Getting our weird wonderful community together. TubeCon
Only you would do this, Geoff. That's why I love this channel :)
This is definitely a waste of four minutes but I’m so glad I wasted those four minutes. This is such a good bit of fun!
What a great idea - well done Geoff and everyone. It looked like so much fun:-)
Next time I need a tube map, i can just use this
You would probably get lost 🤷♂️
Oh, Geoff - I can't believe it - those drone shots made me cry. I know it's a silly thing to do. For some reason it's also an amazing thing to do. Thank you!
Looks like a great turn out and the weather behaved.
That looks amazing fun and controlled chaos at the same time!
You missed a great chance to have a massive game of Mornington Crescent 😉
oh i didn't forget to go "hooray" under my breath on the morning of march 9th this year... it was on my first train of the day as i set out to complete my "dunderground challenge"
This is the silliest thing I have seen all week. Thank you.
Thanks for having me! You can see me at 0:13
Thoroughly enjoyed going this Geoff, was great meeting you and all who came! 🙌
An amazing thing. It's just come out brilliantly. Well done everyone!
Thanks for letting me be in this video. Im epileptic and I try to cool down cause heat is one of my triggers thats why I wore a white baseball cap (to keep me cool). The bloke who was next to me in a Grimsby fc top and I was having a great laugh on that day. when we leaned over I said to him,"leap frog" (we was in the central line)
It's very clever. I'd probably have dressed as the Northen line
This is brilliant!! Great job, everyone!
Ah, the fun things people used to do together in "the before times".
Now, this is some quality content.
This should be a london underground advert
Fantastic! Thanks for the invitation. It was a great fun afternoon. I really enjoyed being Notting Hill Gate.
I want to be Oakwood on the Picadilly line...
The shot at 3:19 is so cool!
With out any doubt in the history of the universe this is the most special and brilliant thing to have done and filmed. I love you all big time for doing it and I wish I could have been there.
I spent quite a while trying to spot myself in the shot at 3:06 until I worked out it had been mirrored!
It was a great day, big thanks to all involved.
Would have been cool if Tom Scott had turned up to form the Central Line!
So LU roundel next?
Nice PSB t shirt Geoff!!!!
This is so heartwarmingly silly - I love it!
So chuffed to be a part of this! A fantastic day meeting some lovely people and being part of something pretty epic.
@tinaonions-marshall Yep, puts my Birmingham to shame! Was nice to meet you afterwards too at the picnic table.
WHY? - Because you CAN, brilliant.
Awesome Video Geoff!
that was great my youngest would of loved this, he loves anything to do with trains
I was in London three weeks ago! :O
So happy to see this! Great job!
3:29 best bit

Great video Geoff and looks very good.
The peak of human evolution
Amazing, well done!
I was there - it was a quirky thing to experience #NorthernLine
Wow that is awesome!❤
this is amazing
Brilliant!
Utter madness. Excellent!
WOW - how great was that!
Wow Geoff, you never cease to amaze, all we need now is a large board to stick all those map points on. Did you tell them what was going to happen?
Saw this video months ago and just had to come revisit it!
Very good! Now come up to Manchester and get a load of people dressed in yellow for a Human Metrolink Map!
This is intensely silly and I love it.
Love it Geoff
Just brilliant ...
Next ..All the Stations ??
Here we see 200 londoners that have nothing better to do then to have a scale of the tube
Well done to everybody involved.
Brilliant! Curious as to how this came to be.... "Excuse me. Have you ever thought of being in a Tube map?" doesn't seem like a successful ice breaker...
We didn't even know what we were doing when we initially signed up!
What a fun video to watch!
That’s fantastic you guys 😃😃😃😃👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Geoff will you be doing another one when the Elizabeth Line opens 😂😂😂👍👍👍👍👍👍
Bonkers! ❤❤❤❤
It looked like you enjoyed using the tannoys. (Public Address System - For Alan Partridge fans).
I reckon this needs to be done on a massive scale to get a world record? Count me in to be part of it - and I don't even live in London!
question:- would you have to do alternating white and green for the olympia branch if you did the full map??
Love it!!!!
Yes Geoff
That's a new level of nerdiness
Great
Brilliant video
Good video very creative
3.28 clears things up
The number of times I yelled at the screen "THAT'S ME!!"
Great idea! 👍🏾😎
Well done!
This must of been so hard to do! Awesome
Nice Geoff!!!!
Excellent
Awesome!
You're amazing!
This is very cool! I wonder if you could get a college marching band to make a full map. They are usually really good at precise formations on a field.
This was so much fun to do!
Great to see that everything was organised around the Central Line (as it should be) but not sure it featured the greatest terminus EPPING! :(
TUBEMAPPER LUKE!!!!!!!!!!
Cool, people with colour shirts
Evolution of the Tube with people next?
YES
@@jusdorange4720 I agree...a good idea...animated people growing the tube...fun fun. .fun!!
Wow that’s awesome!
Very good idea, so the Br symbol, the tube map, maybe you should do a front view of a tube train?
Really good how did you plan this
First chocolate, then people, whats next actual trains???
Cool I Love it!
