If that were me I'd be cussing around after awhile, lol. It always amazes me the work you put into these for us. Thank you! (Especially these 3rd party ones when you said often times they dont even come w transforming instructions!)
Personally I love the look of this guy. I think TLK is peak Megatron design and I have a great figure for that version and I’m still tempted by this guy. Honestly Emgo I think you’re the reason A LOT of transformers fans hold hobo megs near and dear to their heart so who better to judge a figure.
I mentioned this on Ben’s review. You can actually store the gun holster quite snugly inside the back of the truck cab between the seats. You want to point the diagonal tip vertically downwards with the single eyelet side to the back. It also helps to fill out the hollowness of the cab from below. It’s one of those situations where it clearly wasn’t intended, but works so well it feels almost like it was. Then that’s everything stored in alt-mode. 😁
I used to watch your transformer videos about 15 years ago, and happened to stumble across your channel again. It was so pleasing to know that your videos feel the same, you say the same things, same format. A lovely teleportation back to my childhood !
This guy seems to be a prime example of how to do a long and complex transformation without it becoming one of 'those' transformations. Been holding out on getting a 3p dotm megs for awhile now. The AA one is one of 'those' so it was out, the UT one seems decent overall, and a good pick if this one is a tad too expensive for you, but I always thought it felt a bit 'off'. Looks like this one may end up being this year's Xmas present to myself. Thanks for the review EmGo! Tho I'm sorry it meant you had to go thru transforming the AA one again...

What a great deal of effort show us how Duel compares with the other best Meg's's, in both bot and alt mode! Also with a seperate JTI video I can depend on when I get this beast. Now, I've read customer concerns about stress marks on 'the hinges that hold the legs to the tanks' and questioning the material used due to the heft of the legs - I think the method emgo used by resting it down would take this strain off those areas so we can protect our beloved DOTM Megs from breaks.

I have this figure on its way from the show z store. I'm excited to get it! Looks like a better transformation than the alien attack figure for sure, though alien attack does let the truck pivot in vehicle mode, so there is that advantage
I absolutely can’t wait until I get this next year ever since I have seen the reviews for it it’s a definite yes for me the only thing is the holster for the shotgun it’s a little problem but manageable with the chain I’ll just have to be careful 😎

I've spent a lot of time looking at the DOTM model from the movie. Alien Attack's truck mode and transformation (for better or for worse) are the closest to how it's depicted in the film, along with the robot mode's overall appearance. However Newage's robot mode proportions are the closest of the three. Your mileage may vary.
Bruh why is he so pricey? I guess thats the trade off for better quality. Ill have to invest for this guy. So far I like what im seeing and I never thought Unique Toys would get bested!
I'm going to transform my Alien Attack Macktron today and box him up for SALE. If anyone in the UK is interested in buying it, it comes in perfect condition with all original parts & packaging. Personally, I've really enjoyed my AAT Megs and didn't feel the UT one was any better due to the green colouring and vehicle mode being off.
Anyone else want to see an edit of the scene in revenge of the fallen where Megatron gets the damage to his face where it's on a loop with Prime saying why are you shooting yourself or stop shooting yourself stop shooting yourself over and over? Personally I think that it would be hilarious to watch.
The only thing I don’t like about this is the neck it looks too really fragile a megatron head needs to have a strong neck so it has great movement like a ball joint would have worked better in my opinion but that’s just me other than that it’s amazing I literally can’t even wait until I get mine hopefully soon 😎
So am I going crazy or is this like the 11th Masterpiece-style third party DOTM Megatron figure? Don't get me wrong, they're all stellar pieces, but at this point I'm really starting to question my own sanity, because last I checked there were five Micheal Bay Transformers movies, and yet all other versions of movie megatron have gotten two non-mainline figures each.
I really like how people absolutely hate alien attack megatron it really isn’t that good in my opinion either unique toys versions are amazing and of course Newage is perfect in my opinion I don’t have any of them but hopefully a miracle happens and I get new ages version in the new year
Probably a unpopular opinion but still can’t stand the “bay-verse” designs of all the movie Transformers, although they did make them better looking in Bumblebee and Rise of the beasts, but still not a fan. Cool toy though.
