@@lauriewilson4741 I wish I could find the gold at the end of one, Lol but no I was at piece for the first time in months. Battling cancer is very difficult to handle. On that day the pain was not as bad. So I was in a good place mentally and wanted to share that peace with others.

This painting is just beautiful! I love trees. I have all my life. I grew up across the street from woods that were loaded with Birch trees. As I got older my favorite tree was the Aspen tree. Now I adore Weeping Atlas Cedar trees, Weeping Colorado Spruce trees and Blue Weeping Alaskan Cedar. Also, The Weeping Willow trees. Trees are so beautiful, as is your painting. You amaze me every week!

This is just awesome....earlier this week I was looking at the leaves and flowers I have dried and was trying to figure out how to incorporate them in a painting project and POW!!! This is everything I love about mixed media art! Your gorgeous composition brought back lovely memories of the 3 beautiful white weeping birch trees my parents had in their front yard. They were there so long the trees started to pass but my mom saved the wood. They make the most beautiful Yule Logs that she brings out every Cmas & we think about my dad. 😊💚🌿🌱 Bravo!

Just a hint to try if you like..
You can microwave your silica granules with flowers n leaves in it in the microwave..then you can use them when they are cool.
