One Pot Creamy Chicken & Orzo | Cook & Eat With Me

Ingredients:
650 g Chicken breast (about ×4), Skinless and boneless. Chopped
1 tbsp Olive oil, Or oil from sun dried tomatoes jar
3 Garlic cloves, Peeled and crushed
170 g Sun-dried tomatoes (in oil), Drained
1 tsp Oregano
2 tsp Paprika
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1 cup Orzo
2 3/4 cups Chicken stock
150 ml Double cream
50 g Parmesan, Grated
120 g Spinach
Freshly ground black pepper & salt to taste
Instructions:
In a large, deep frying pan, heat the oil over a medium heat. When it's hot, carefully add the chicken pieces. Cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally until all sides are starting to color. Reduce the heat and add the garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, oregano and paprika. Stir for 3-5 minutes until the garlic is softened. Add the orzo, stock, and some pepper and give everything a good stir and put the lid on. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the orzo is almost cooked. Turn the heat to the lowest setting add the spinach and cream and stir very well for 1-3 minutes until the spinach is
wilted and the cream is heated through. Check the chicken is cooked through. Turn off the heat and stir in the parmesan.

I love a creamy chicken pasta dish. Well any pasta really. I've not heard of Orzo pasta. Though there are roughly 350 different types.😋It's defiantly a safe pasta. By that I meant I always get sauce splashed by either dropping penne/ravioli or flicking spaghetti around. lol

Haha yes I’m fairly new to orzo as well.. really good & soft texture.. 350?! Wow I didn’t know that😳that’s a lotttt of pastaaa lol.. and yesss it’s definitely safe.. zero stains on my shirt after eating orzo so that’s a win🥇lol
