Tbf i think even by your own criteria there were better choices, i think it should be very similar to the top character list tbh, yelan or neuvillette, then xilonen, kazuha, zhongli, furina. Most flexable regardless of metta is obviously riden nahida kazuha xilonen and furina. Not in order btw.

As a Clorinde main; the take that she is more flexible than raiden is wild. Clorinde has no off field electro app(she can only function as a a main dps or a driver). Raiden can dps, drive, battery, and has off field electro application. Too many main dps are on here for a list of the most “flexible” characters, but everyone’s entitled to their own opinions lol
I agree, newish player that has both. Ive got 1 good clorinde team (overload) yet raiden allready made it onto 3 diff teams due to the off field (aggrevate ketching, navia shrapnel driver and electro charged) plus when playing coop shes mutch easier to work with

And dont come that BS of "energy and dmg to burst unit", xiphos and favonius exist ppl; and with how much dmg buffers we have right now a 24% increase dmg for Elemental Burst is a crappy buff. Units fell off with time, is normal in gacha games, stop living in the past.
Don’t get me wrong Raiden still a flexible unit but her importance for a lot of teams are decreasing. Since Clorinde and Fischl taking over most of Electro reaction teams like Aggravate, overload, quickbloom and taser without needing a huge investment while her battery utility hasn’t been relevant since 3.0 unless you’re stuck with national.
I think clorinde will gain another optimal team when ororon comes out.. ELECTRO-CHARGE!! Ororons gonna be putting up some delicious personal damage ( assuming ), and buff clorinde ( other teammates aswell ) with 40% damage bonus, reduce ER, and probably more :)
Honestly kinda insane that clorinde made it over nahida.. Nahidas teams might be lower in damage but not only does she have more, but shes IN clorinde teams too

Tbh Nahida should have been on this list due to the amount of teams she enables. I think even if they aren't all as good, they are all at least competent and some like hyper bloom / nilou bloom are easy to build and F2P friendly... idk maybe i'm wrong but yeah she just enables dendro so well that I think she should *at least* be in the top 5.

She's too obsessed with numbers that she calls every character that isn't Neuvi or Arle levels of damage bad, mid, or fallen off, despite the fact that said characters can still comfortably clear Abyss with zero problems. Feel sorry for new players or f2ps who watch her content for pulling advice tbh.

Even this video which is supposedly about flexibility still ended up as a list of hard-hitting DPS characters, while units that actually shine in this mode due to their ability to slot into countless team comps like Raiden and Nahida were relegated to the honorable mentions.
in terms of amount of teams, nahida is definitely more flexible, but those teams are overall less effective than clorindes teams with how dendro reactions have been overtaken damage-wise by newer dps characters
@@Juice-chani dont get what "fell off" means in this context, you can still incredibly easily clear one side of the abyss with a c0 hyperbloom team with no crit stats. Thats literally impossible for any other team archetype...
@@Personpersonpersonperson ur comparing a dps with a sub dps that can run as a dps, that description alone gives an idea which is more flexible, and if u test them both u see that the dps difference whilst defo exists its not big enough to justify considering clorinde as more flexible, the only way that happens is if the raiden teams cannot clear abyss and therefore those teams shouldnt count since they dont perform well enough.

As a raiden and clorinde haver, I would say.... Don't choose and pull both lol. I have them both and they just make it easy to clear abyss. Idk why PPL skipped clorinde when her DMG is really good[25k × 5hit= 125k dmg ] on burst then DMG bosst for some time XD
I wouldn't say it's a bad list but putting DPSs there and benching nahida and raiden to the honorable mentions is kinda silly for me. Also, we're in the middle of the first sabzerus festival after our little radish spent 500 years celebrating her birthday in a prison. I'm living this event as a continuation of 3.x archon quest. Let's show the dendro archon the love she deserves 😭😭
my personal favorite would it be baizhu, like he works amazing everywhere, is dendro and similar to xianyun just happens to be super good in furina teams xd
Honestly im a bit surprised ayato wasnt even mentioned, a lot of people ive seen including myself think he’s one of if not the most versatile dps in the game, even if he doesnt do the most damage

it feels weird to value arle/clorinde over nahida/raiden in terms of flexibitlity. maybe its just the f2p mindset, cause hyperbloom and dendro teams are easy ways to get to high damage potentials for f2ps. from a c0 standpoint raiden and clorinde have lots of teams, some overlapping teams like overload etc. im not sure which teams beat which at c0 (i know as cons rise clorinde is stronger), but raiden also can be a hyperbloom applicator etc. so i feel shes still a better choice over clorinde for flexibility. nahida is just the best dendro support, even with dendro becoming not as good as before, she still enables a lot of team comps that are good/great. im a raiden main, and secondly alhaitham main so im prolly bias tho.
Clorinde usually beats raiden in terms of dps in the teams that overlap( even if its nowhere near as much ppl pretend ) also applies for cons so its across the board Raiden is on paper and even more so in practice more flexible ( theres a reason u gotto check what build raiden is on ) And dendro is still just as good as before, the rest of the meta has just caught up and outside a couple specific characters dendro still has some of the better floor lvl dmg in terms of requirements to clear abyss
Replace Clorinde with Raiden cuz even Juice says that "not everyone has an expensive PC" and Raiden doesn't require set up unlike Clorinde. The glazing for Clorinde is actually insane. There's a reason Raiden will always be preferred over Clorinde and the stats don't lie
Another top 5 most flexible 5* that doesn't mention Yae Miko. At higher constellations she's better than Raiden in every way.If your planning to get C3 Raiden, save 2 more months and get C6 Yae Miko .Even if I re-started the game again now I'd still get Yae Miko again over every other DPS. Not true she's only good with Dendro. She's been carrying one of my floor 12 abyss teams for the past 3 years wherever I put her with automatic full stars. No enemies in the game can avoid her attacks (Fatui pyroslingers,weinut..) Not ER or Burst dependant E-Skill permanent uptime Can be used on field if needed Consistent and constant off-field damage that doesn't require normal attacks to proc Good vs mobs and bosses Good multiwave. No gimmicks like Bond of life or losing HP to dish out more damage. At C2 her range can cover the entire abyss E-skill can be used to re-position Electro can somewhat damage all shields I always save her for the 2 last acts of Imaginarium Theater now It's because of this flexibility that I invested in her to C6 over getting other characters.
I really hope I get Clorinde her next rerun (initially I didn't want her but she grew on me right before she came out, but I lost the 50/50. Unfortunately this is the EXACT same thing that happened with Feixiao. I havent won a SINGLE 50/50 since Clorinde's release)
Should have banned Zhongli too. Let's be honest, the ceo of geo can basically work in every single team just for his shield, same as the other banned characters. Raiden or 'hida should be at that spot. (Not hating on Zhong or anything, I just think he is right there with the other banned characters)

Yesss let's Glaze Navia moreeeee she deserves it, ever since I got her there's not floor that I wont use her frfr. Tho Niche aside, Mualani, she is very stucked with Vaporize teams BUT a dps that enables a lot of 4stars(Candace, Thoma, Xinyan) and weird 5 stars(Mona and Dehya) and at very low team investment, insane. Tho its just personal opinion. She also made me abpe to use Nahida ones again cuz mine is super benched
That ban list really requires me to think about the answer haha. I think Arlecchino might be my top one since she only really needs Benny C1, and you can kinda just put whatever in the last two slots and the team works. You are very based for including Pookiemaxer Clorinde on this list. Fischl being so competent at C0 makes any pairings with her a good recommendations for players wanting to kickstart their account.
those 2 are such flexible DPSes that can be used with such a variety of units, & yes a new player can pretty easily form a clorox team & do well. after all, xl is free, c0 chev is great, slot in a fischl, then you’re good to go! arle’s new player flex is wild tho, such as arle/xq/bennett/sucrose etc
I remember when Xianyun was released so many people were calling her terrible But I believed in the Birb and the Birb was worked for me very well in my Hu tao and Gaming team
i'm a big believer that zhongli changed my entire account. like obviously the game got easier but it also got SO much less stressful and as a newbie getting him a couple years back i wasn't literally terrified to explore overworld content
Yeah, Zhongli saved me from giving up on this game. I'm not great at dodging, so his shield was my saving grace. I don't use him nearly as much now but I appreciate that he's always there if I need him. Xilonen stole his thunder though, with buffs, shields from crystallize, and healing. Once I built her, I finally 36 starred the Abyss. And did it again too, easy. But he will always be the CEO of Geo to me. Thanks for the list, Juice! And don't feel bad for using Venti all the time, it shows your dedication! Someone has to remind us all how cute he is!
Thanks God! You're the first content creator I've seen who FOR ONCE ignores the 4-5 ultra-meta-top-favorites-broken-op characters and focuses on variety and other examples.... For real, it feels so refreshing and interesting to watch. Remember, a life without Bennett Xialing Kazuha is possible :D
As a Navia main I appreciate this list, Navia is easily the most flexible dps character in this game and yall can keep coping if you like, one geo, two pech is all she needs
Fun video! Personally I would rate Arle a bit lower, she's absolutely great, but due to her HP mechanics, she's hard to slot into teams that don't have a shielder or are typically balanced around having a healer.
If Kazuha, Furina, Yelan and Xilonen are banned, I don’t see why Zhong Li isn’t banned. He was THE original always use unit. To Similar reasons to why Yelan is banned, the two honourable mentions should be as well. I think a more reasonable character to include would be Dehya for her off field pyro application or even Baizhu if characters made to be flexible aren’t banned. I do not like your credentials for flexibility, but that’s okay and I respect your opinion. If I was making a flexible list, I would say units like nilou are way up there because although she has a niche of only hydro and dendro, she makes all hydro and dendro characters in that team valuable. You can have all 4* units that are really crappy alone and nilou and it can run like a top tier team. Huge flexibility as long as you’re adhering to the niche. I do agree with the Navia take, I run her as a sub dps in some teams and she works great!
Clorinde is by far the best electro Carry. Clorinde Overload no joke is probably one of the best teams for multiwave. I believe Clorinde + Chevy + Fishl + Mavuika will be a cracked team. And with Ororon she will gain the Electrocharge use, will be quite interesting to see how she’ll perform with the likes of Furina and Yelan.
Xianyun mains are psychopaths...they see a claymore character they see plunge... Yesterday I saw Chongyun and beidou plunge... Like wtf bruh they could make even their granny plunge and clear the abyss 😢😢
Ayato is the poster child for flexibility. Is he the best choice? No. But he's never a bad choice in just about any team. Which is more than his sister can say.

in 3.7 I pulled for kazuha c1 and gave him sacrificial sword r5 just to make him plunge like xiao but I don't want to pull for xiao. Then xianyun came into the scene. Bye xiao. lol

I think Nahida and Clorinde should be swaped. I know 4 good teams of Clorinde and 2 of them don't work so well without Nahida. And find it hard to believe that Navia is that flexible. But eh, to each their own.
Imo there's no difference between Furina, Zhong Li and Xianyun. You should have just named the DPSs or name all of the supports as well. Also where is Hu Tao? Why is she worse than Clorinde? Plays anywhere you want
Top 5 Flexible outside the 4 mentioned as exception would be -Zhongli -Nahida -Raiden -Xianyun - Navia/Neuvi purely based of how random u can slap units with them and they work Clorinde whilst having more dmg than raiden doesnt have more flex and the dps diff isnt big enough to make up for it Arle whilst on paper is fairly flexible i dont see how shes anymore flexible than hu tao outside maybe like mono, whilst you can force teams to work it doesnt make them feel good or popular or even rly perform anywhere near what the usual bis team is, A vape team with 4 stars is still a vape team if u change them with 5 stars. But to be fair Navia and Neuvi kinda suffer from the same thing, its just hard to rly call any dps Flexible the way you would sub dps and supports Good vid tho i didnt rly expect navia to be here at all.
I seriously don't see any difference in damage between Raiden dps and Clorinde Up to their C3. Raiden is far more flexible: she is a battery, she buffs her teamates burst, her coordinate is great with hyperbloom ( even without the build required). She is a main dps, a sub dps and a support. Clorinde is just a main dps.
Well he's always been a dps loss for a team, but damage has also never been his thing. He offers the strongest shield in the game, stagger resistance and universal res shred as well. You can slot him in almost every team and he'll fit perfectly.
Not including Nahida after the first four exclusions was a surprise, especially with three main damage dealers...though it was refreshing that it wasn't all supports, so I respect the decision even if I wouldn't have made it myself.
She did justify herself, at least. I'm not inclined to agree, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it trash if the option was considered and rejected with reasons why.

Is nahida still worth pulling for then?
Sure, Clorinde does more damage than Raiden. But Raiden is more flexible. She can support, sub dps, or dps.
Raiden is only better in hyperbloom
Chlorinde teams have better damage everywhere else in hyper, aggravate, and overload

maybe its just the f2p mindset, cause hyperbloom and dendro teams are easy ways to get to high damage potentials for f2ps.
from a c0 standpoint raiden and clorinde have lots of teams, some overlapping teams like overload etc. im not sure which teams beat which at c0 (i know as cons rise clorinde is stronger), but raiden also can be a hyperbloom applicator etc. so i feel shes still a better choice over clorinde for flexibility.
nahida is just the best dendro support, even with dendro becoming not as good as before, she still enables a lot of team comps that are good/great.
im a raiden main, and secondly alhaitham main so im prolly bias tho.
Clorinde usually beats raiden in terms of dps in the teams that overlap( even if its nowhere near as much ppl pretend )
also applies for cons so its across the board
Raiden is on paper and even more so in practice more flexible ( theres a reason u gotto check what build raiden is on )
And dendro is still just as good as before, the rest of the meta has just caught up and outside a couple specific characters dendro still has some of the better floor lvl dmg in terms of requirements to clear abyss
Replace Clorinde with Raiden cuz even Juice says that "not everyone has an expensive PC" and Raiden doesn't require set up unlike Clorinde. The glazing for Clorinde is actually insane. There's a reason Raiden will always be preferred over Clorinde and the stats don't lie
Another top 5 most flexible 5* that doesn't mention Yae Miko. At higher constellations she's better than Raiden in every way.If your planning to get C3 Raiden, save 2 more months and get C6 Yae Miko .Even if I re-started the game again now I'd still get Yae Miko again over every other DPS. Not true she's only good with Dendro. She's been carrying one of my floor 12 abyss teams for the past 3 years wherever I put her with automatic full stars.
No enemies in the game can avoid her attacks (Fatui pyroslingers,weinut..)

E-Skill permanent uptime
Can be used on field if needed
Consistent and constant off-field damage that doesn't require normal attacks to proc
Good vs mobs and bosses
Good multiwave.
No gimmicks like Bond of life or losing HP to dish out more damage.
At C2 her range can cover the entire abyss
E-skill can be used to re-position
Electro can somewhat damage all shields
I always save her for the 2 last acts of Imaginarium Theater now
It's because of this flexibility that I invested in her to C6 over getting other characters.
I only pull for DPS maybe 2-3 times a year. I favour supports way more in value because they age better. Supports > DPS

I really hope I get Clorinde her next rerun (initially I didn't want her but she grew on me right before she came out, but I lost the 50/50. Unfortunately this is the EXACT same thing that happened with Feixiao. I havent won a SINGLE 50/50 since Clorinde's release)
Should have banned Zhongli too. Let's be honest, the ceo of geo can basically work in every single team just for his shield, same as the other banned characters. Raiden or 'hida should be at that spot.

Tho Niche aside, Mualani, she is very stucked with Vaporize teams BUT a dps that enables a lot of 4stars(Candace, Thoma, Xinyan) and weird 5 stars(Mona and Dehya) and at very low team investment, insane. Tho its just personal opinion. She also made me abpe to use Nahida ones again cuz mine is super benched
That ban list really requires me to think about the answer haha. I think Arlecchino might be my top one since she only really needs Benny C1, and you can kinda just put whatever in the last two slots and the team works.
You are very based for including Pookiemaxer Clorinde on this list. Fischl being so competent at C0 makes any pairings with her a good recommendations for players wanting to kickstart their account.
those 2 are such flexible DPSes that can be used with such a variety of units, & yes a new player can pretty easily form a clorox team & do well. after all, xl is free, c0 chev is great, slot in a fischl, then you’re good to go!

I remember when Xianyun was released so many people were calling her terrible
But I believed in the Birb and the Birb was worked for me very well in my Hu tao and Gaming team
i'm a big believer that zhongli changed my entire account. like obviously the game got easier but it also got SO much less stressful and as a newbie getting him a couple years back i wasn't literally terrified to explore overworld content
Yeah, Zhongli saved me from giving up on this game. I'm not great at dodging, so his shield was my saving grace. I don't use him nearly as much now but I appreciate that he's always there if I need him. Xilonen stole his thunder though, with buffs, shields from crystallize, and healing. Once I built her, I finally 36 starred the Abyss. And did it again too, easy. But he will always be the CEO of Geo to me.

Fun video! Personally I would rate Arle a bit lower, she's absolutely great, but due to her HP mechanics, she's hard to slot into teams that don't have a shielder or are typically balanced around having a healer.

If Kazuha, Furina, Yelan and Xilonen are banned, I don’t see why Zhong Li isn’t banned. He was THE original always use unit.
To Similar reasons to why Yelan is banned, the two honourable mentions should be as well.
I think a more reasonable character to include would be Dehya for her off field pyro application or even Baizhu if characters made to be flexible aren’t banned.

I think clorinde will gain another optimal team when ororon comes out.. ELECTRO-CHARGE!! Ororons gonna be putting up some delicious personal damage ( assuming ), and buff clorinde ( other teammates aswell ) with 40% damage bonus, reduce ER, and probably more :)
Ororon will probably buff a lot of other characters and their teams aswell.. overload.., aggravate and maybe more but that’s all I know rn

If I was making a flexible list, I would say units like nilou are way up there because although she has a niche of only hydro and dendro, she makes all hydro and dendro characters in that team valuable. You can have all 4* units that are really crappy alone and nilou and it can run like a top tier team. Huge flexibility as long as you’re adhering to the niche.
I do agree with the Navia take, I run her as a sub dps in some teams and she works great!
Clorinde is by far the best electro Carry. Clorinde Overload no joke is probably one of the best teams for multiwave. I believe Clorinde + Chevy + Fishl + Mavuika will be a cracked team. And with Ororon she will gain the Electrocharge use, will be quite interesting to see how she’ll perform with the likes of Furina and Yelan.

Zhongli is on 80% of my teams. I love the shred and interruption resistance. Xilonen did steal a few slots from him though.
Xianyun mains are psychopaths...they see a claymore character they see plunge... Yesterday I saw Chongyun and beidou plunge... Like wtf bruh they could make even their granny plunge and clear the abyss 😢😢

I seriously don't see any difference in damage between Raiden dps and Clorinde Up to their C3. Raiden is far more flexible: she is a battery, she buffs her teamates burst, her coordinate is great with hyperbloom ( even without the build required). She is a main dps, a sub dps and a support. Clorinde is just a main dps.

Well he's always been a dps loss for a team, but damage has also never been his thing. He offers the strongest shield in the game, stagger resistance and universal res shred as well. You can slot him in almost every team and he'll fit perfectly.
zhongli should have been on the ban list as well
