Which camera feature did you like the most? Which manufacturer will bring out the most power out of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3?
I think Xiaomi 14 Pro is first out of the bat.
For me it's the motion camera sensor

I'm Sure HUAWEI Will Ez smash thosse devices, HUAWEI P60 PRO IS STILL THE DXO MARK KING (^~^)
@@HUAWEI3vidk how they do it. I have the mate 60 pro
Those ai capabilities make the Pixel 8 Pro look silly now.
Literally had a Deja Vu moment, it felt like I saw this video like a week ago and I do remember your comment very vividly, but to my surprise this was just uploaded 2 hours ago and you commented like an hour ago ,how this could be ?
People I'm telling you ,that there is something wrong with reality.
This time it felt so freakin real ,I had Deja Vu before but this was my fucking memory
Until we see it n use it....we can't yet conclude
@@akagetobimaru1994 yep but at least it's on device and not have to be sent to the cloud and wait for it to be processed for who knows how long before you get it back. I never liked that idea of them doing it that way.
@@trailblazer1473 happens to me too. Not just deja vu but weird things that no one expect
I think your comment is silly! Chips not even out yet
I really like the new 200mp sensor that can zoom 4x with 4k video recording, also the new HDR 10bit photos
3:09 Look at the birb go
Qualcomm had features in last few years in their reference devices which phone manufacturers just didnt end up using.
Just because they are available doesn’t mean they will all be used and manufacturers usually take the features and optimize them or further build on these implementations so they can take a while to show up. Some of these though will show up really quick I believe this year.
Can u name some features??
Thank you Danny. I’m super excited to see what the S24 Ultra is going to bring!
Looking forward to watching your videos on this device.
Exciting new features! Can't wait for the S24 Ultra to see if they implement some of this stuff!
Great video Danny. Enjoy. Keep the videos coming.
Appreciate it! 🙏🏻
Very interesting to see. I'm more just interested in the blurry photo capture and maybe some of the generative AI. On something like a S24U or maybe a Fold 6, they would be great for editing.
So I see this as a direct competitor to what Google is doing with the Tensor 3 and these features all look great. I am more curious as to what happens on device vs. what processes are happening in the cloud. Very interesting stuff! Always good to see new content from you Danny!
Hey! All of the AI features like language models and Generative fill are all done on device! That’s what makes this so special. Even night mode for video and vloggers view. Nothing is cloud based 🔥
@@dannywinget that's awesome! I'm sure Samsung is on this type train for the s23 series!
Google has always done somethings on device. Even some of the editing tools are on device. They started using the cloud now because it provides for better results. The same way photoshop does on your computer. For the best results Photoshop does some things in the cloud.
@@dannywinget How do AI models train and get better if there is no cloud? Right now Pixel has better quality results with their AI features because of the cloud
@@ssaini5028he doesn't knows shit about AI
Fantastic overview. This is the beginning of the the next step in evolution for smartphones that's been missing for years! Super exciting times again!
Rooting for other brands other than Samsung so we can have more options. Was glad to see Danny, Floss and Jaime on social media 😊 Excited for the low light feature.
That’s the crew! Love those guys. Stand up fellas
Cool video. Looking forward to the Samsung s24 series as I am hopefully Samsung might deliver.
I hope they go for the Elite version for the ultra.
3:08 the bird in the background is so happy to hear the news it's running around in circles with excitement.
It looks like samsung is about to ditch the 3x telephoto camera for a 4x or even jump directly to 10x.
I'm really excited for the s24U right now.
Also I feel bad for pixel phones.
Nothing really going for the pixel. Its cpu and gpu is a few years behind. Same with battery. Cameras are not that good. It's only a budget phone.
Yeah pixel is honestly a scam
Even if it was 700$ I still wouldn’t buy
no, Samsung is ditching the 10x for 5x in S24 Ultra
@@richardyiu8243 it makes sense, I just hope that the lossless 10x is up to par with the S23U since pixels and xiaomis with high resolution 5x sensors have good results but they are not up there yet. It would be a total loss if the S24U dissapoints.
Very cool features! Will all of them come to every snapdragon 8 gen 3 or is it a question of OEM having to license individual features into their own "android skins"?
It would suck If I can't be sure which of these features will be included. 😢
Yeah some of the companies will use them as is and some of them will build upon them + optimize so some features will be faster than others. At a chipset level though all these capabilities will be available.
Yes OEMs have to buy licences for these features/IP
I'm Sure HUAWEI Will Ez smash thosse devices, HUAWEI P60 PRO IS STILL THE DXO MARK KING (^~^)
I am glad not only google is doing this. I really love the Galaxy s series phone. if they bring these to s24 ultra, this is going to be great!
I wasn't going to update my S23 Ultra next year, but this has changed my mind. The Snapdragon Gen 3 looks awesome. I just hope Samsung get all these features working on the S24 Ultra.
Most of the time these are much more proof of concept. We were advertised always on camera for the snapdragon 8 gen 1, which never came. This might come in a couple years.
If they add these features to s24 séries, you will be able to get it on the s23series...
Bro is obsessed with consumption
Ahhhh I need the newest product im consooming
@@Gdsamplify I'm not obsessed with anything. If these features come to the S24 (which I will find useful) I will get it. If not, I won't. Try trolling somewhere else.
Nah, Samsung is most likely going to slap a stupid Exynos into its non-US variants and call it a day. They have a history of alternating between good and shitty phones, S23 were the good ones.
Thank you, i am glad i hold unto my superhot 8 gen 1 phone until now, definitely upgrade to s24!
Did you use an ultrawide lens to shoot this video....
Cause in some parts of the video looks a bit streathed and kind of unpleasing
This is wild stuff especially for video 🤯
Can't wait to see what the next Samsung iPhone One Plus Google and others are going to bring
3:08 I like how the bird just casually hang in the video.
S24 Ultra is about to go CRAZY!
3:08 - check out that bird LOL
Amazing
Does this come with AI video frame rate enhancement? Where it displays the video in the same frame rate as your display by generating extra frames for fluid experience. The OnePlus 9 Pro had this and really love this feature
They did state there would be frame rate enhancement available on the chipset that would make 4K 30fps look like 4K 60fps. They did not have a demo though.
Is the Snapdragon 8 G3 fast enough to take above 12 Mpix photos with 3'rd party camera apps like HedgeCam? Or this feature comes with SD 8 G4?
3:09 what is that bird doing lmao
what camera did u use to shot this video pls?
Wow 😮 impressive
Great Video but that bird in the background, especially at 3:07....noice
It's a total GAME changer
Incredible technology
3:10 What was that bird doing on the floor 😅
So they finally found solution to video night mode and a little blurry for photos bcoz of shutter lag is not fast enough maybe even if the night they can remove blurry photos
It’s so crazy how much of this they’re doing on device and not relying on the cloud! 😮
Right? That’s the most impressive part
Not really. Googles AI models are trained in the cloud to get better and better. This is why a connection is required. On device is ok, but I rather have access to Googles power servers imo
@@ssaini5028imo??
Still depends ng smartphone manufaturer.. if they will utilized this capability or not
Finaly something cool!
That video object eraser is just next level......google better do something serious with the pixels cuz things aren't looking too good for them😅
So does apple.

Hit me with that video object eraser!
I need it quicker than later! 😂
Imagine the Pixel still stuck with a Tensor chip that can barely process as fast as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, let alone Gen 3 lmao
pixel Ai has opened doors for other companies.. that's incredible..
The bird in background 😀😂
Hi Tensor 👋🏼
Please do a camera review for OnePlus Open!😊😊
These features really sound like a thing from Sci-fi movie...🔥🔥🔥
No one talking about the bird in the background doing circles? 2:58
I know this is unlikely but imagine a Google Phone with this chip... It would be a MONSTER
Nah we want custom Tensor, Googles AI is way better
@@ssaini5028 But we know how lacking Tensor's performance is... Aside from it having an edge on the AI department, it lacks behind every other aspects
@@Justin_isslpng lacking but only in benchmarks, and lets face it benchmarks are only for marketing.
Real world performance shows the 8 Pro a head of many 8 Gen 2 phones out there
It would be interesting to make a video where you directly compare the video capabilities of iPhone 15 Pro (Max) versus DJI Pocket 3. :)
When are you going to review and compare Pixel 8 series camera woth iPhones?
Wht type of the phone is this???
3:29 The little bird is the real improvement, every Snapdragon comes with a little bird throwing some circles behind.
3:09 The Bird 🐦
Its really up to the OEMs to use the cpu to its max capabilities but i doubt many of them will bc doing on device computing like this will kill your battery life
That’s where this is going to blow your mind. NPU is low power so it will have minimal impacts to battery life even being on device 👀
if u don't know shit about anything just don't comment it
6:49 the power of the sun in the palm of my hands
Lol. Just updated my self from a Snapdragon 732G to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, I saw a major boost in everything.
I will wait 3,4 more years to make another jump. But this looks promising if implemented well by the phone makers.
Just imagine Google's AI with this chipset
It'll never happen Google is somehow always a step behind in hardware.this looks two steps above the a.i. stuff in the pixel 8 too
Exactly, they should've stuck with Qualcomm. Night vision video on device versus having to send it up to the cloud to be processed by Google's servers already sounds way better than what Google presented.
😂We know Google thinks Tensor is the hottest smartphone chip out
Google 2 steps behind? How when they have been doing this for 3 to 4 years. Qualcomm is now saying all the things Google told you a few years back. They are now building chips to do what Google already does. Cut it out. They are now joining a game Google is basically the king of... Software development... Thank Google for pushing the game forward.
@@gcforreal They always use two generations old exynos chips as latest tensor chips so this is not coming to Pixel phones until 2025.
3:08 that bird in the background
This bird is the star of the show 🤣
Well... i wasn't planning on upgrading to S24 Ultra this year... i guess the plans have changed. Haha

That Benchmark Score ..😅😅
Thank goodness I didn't pull the trigger on the pixel 8 pro. S24 ultra baby!

Those AI features are good, but annoying me to be honest
like the "unblur" thing for fast moving subjects, I am pretty sure it can get good in 2 / 3 years, but it will never be a REAL photo
it will always be some reconstruction done by the AI, and I don't really like that...
(as I don't really like DLSS in video games)
we are really going into super faked images everywhere...
and as the night modes photo, I don't like those "ultra bright" night modes
like if I am filming / taking a photo at night, I want the photo to transcribe it well, I don't want an unnatural day like photo or video
anyway, that was just me talking about things I don't like
BUT WHAT I LIKE IS DANNY'S CONTENT, THANKS FOR YOUR WORK
I want a Slog mode on my S24U
Seems like Apple chips don’t take advantage of the power. Android I’ve seen, takes full advantage of the power.Even though it’s less powerful than the a17 pro. This video was insane!!!Considering getting the s24 ultra from my 14 pro max
Nah. The Snapdragon Gen 3 is way better than the A17.
Nah its Not
It's better on multicore and GPU and tests shows the 8G3 is much more efficient too.
@@thundergato84 not on scores
A17pro competes with 8 gen 2 neck and neck
8 gen 3 is much much ahead
Not even in the same league
Imagine if S24 Ultra comes out with an Optical zoom+lossless zoom in main camera and give us 2 telephoto modules like 10X and 30x
It'll be the best for a very long time
Yeah, I’m trading in my 15pro max for sure
Man Qualcomm should make a phone.
You don’t remember what happened last time they put out a phone? 👀
@@dannywingetwait, when? What happened? Can you explain?
Wòow 😮
all of them are cool, snapdragon seems to be the only innovative processor brand for Android
wow
Sensor crop zoom was happening in 2012/13 though right?
No because you didn’t have a 200MP sensor to go in to the sensor 4 times from. What you are speaking of is digital zoom.
I feel like this should have been the chip that the new Pixel phones had
isnt samsung going with the exenos chips though?
no
HTC had the vloggers screen 10 years ago So that has nothing to do with AI. HTC One was able to use both cameras at the same time.
Why they ain't calling is as Snapdragon 10 instead of Snapdragon 8 3 gen?
Watching this on my Pixel 7 and I just about peed myself from excitement. I want myself a Xiaomi dawg
Are we in future now 😭
The pixel was so hyped to be an "ai phone" with all its performance focused on it, the 8 gen 3 will absolutely demolish the pixel phones in every category
Nah just imagine the overclocked version for Galaxy 💀
so?
I am surprised there isn't any pixel pro 8 camera comparison yet
Sorry it’s been extremely busy. Just don’t have time for it at this moment. Takes me about 4 days total to do those and once everything is caught up I will get to it! Stay Tuned!
@@dannywinget thanks. Looking forward to the best camera comparison on the tube.
2:49 Samsung will still have blurry pictures with the S24 series.
At this point it is a feature.
Snapdragon ain't playing anymore, they killing it
Feel bad for Apple
What is the name of this phone?
Wow. You're next phone will be faster and smarter. Like every year. Every ad points out how your previous phone is a POC compared to this year's model.
Not that at all. Just goes to show you what will be available for the next generation. Your previous phones will be just fine.
@@dannywinget then why buy a new phone? Logically your old phone is fine, but they are appealing to emotion of FOMA, virtually every single time.
I'm wondering if we will have to pay separately for the AI tools?
No not as the consumer. Should be a feature of the camera software.
I think there might be a possibility, even though lot people not expecting. If not, phones will become 200-300$ costly.
Why is not everyone saying about the bird in background
This is like the number 1 comment 🤣
