Blue Lampshade might very well be the most complex, insane and difficult piano compositions to exist, at least within ragtime. Just playing the first parts already requires wizard-like skill and the improvisation... No words!

Tom actually played the music as written in the Constellations recording, none of that is improv. Everything in the videos past the repeat of the first strain is always improv.
This video was an absolute nightmare to make. I downloaded all videos of Blue Lampshade and only 3 of them matched the audio of the Constellations recording. So from the point I said it is improv, that basically means from that point no video matched the audio. I declare that improvisation 😉
Also the stretching of two videos was a choice by me. But after seeing it once more on YT, I can agree it was not my best decision ever lmao
