    Lyrics:
    Way down in Louisiana
    Down in New Orleans
Way back up in the woods among the evergreens
There stood a log cabin made of earth and wood
Where lived a country boy named Johnny B. Goode
Who never ever learned to read or write so well
He could play a guitar just like he's ringing a bell
    Go, go
    Go, Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Go, Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Johnny B. Goode
He used to carry his guitar in a gunny sack,
and sit beneath the trees by the railroad track
The engineer could see him sitting in the shade,
strumming to the rhythm that the driver made
People passing by and always stop and say,
"Oh my! That little country boy sure can play!"
    Go, go
    Go, Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Go, Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Johnny B. Goode
    Go, go
    Go, Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Go, Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Johnny,
    Go, go
    Johnny B. Goode
    Well, his mama told him,
"One day you will be a man,
and you will be the leader of a big old band.
People gonna come from miles around
to listen to you playing til the sun goes down.
And one day maybe your name gonna be in the lights,
    saying 'Johnny B. Goode tonight.'"
    Go, go, go
    Go, Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Go, Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Johnny,
    Go, go, go
    Johnny B. Goode
    Oh, no, go
    Go, Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Go, Johnny, go
    Go, go
    Johnny,
    Go, go...

This is the image and sound I want to remember Micheal J. Fox. 'Go Johnny, go!' Flippin' brilliant.
Imagine a few houndred years from now some historian manages to reconstruct this file from the swamps of the 'early ages', it goes viral and people move heaven and earth to find more stuff from 'Marty McFly', but nothing... That's all they find. No record of birth, residence or other works. People will go nuts! I think this is how religions born.

I gotta say, Michael J. Fox missed his calling. Next to Chuck Berry himself, this is my favorite version.

I wonder if, back when the movie came out in 1985, they ever recorded a slightly alternate timeline of the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance. They can't do the whole song as Chuck originally wrote it, obviously, since Marty careens off into Van Halen behavior (public domain spoiler, there), but a Director's Cut addition of the second, "gurney sack" stanza, which I've never seen in any video, would be legendary.

Way down Louisiana down in New Orleans,
Way back up in the woods among the evergreens...
There stood a long cabin made of earth and wood,
Where lived a country boy name of Johnny B. Goode...
He never ever learned to read or write so well,
he could play the guitar like he's ringing bell.
    Go Go
    Go Johnny Go
    Go Go
    Johny be good
He use to carry his guitar in a gunny sack
Go sit beneath the trees by the railroad track.
Oh, the engineers used to see him sitting in the shade,
strumming to the rhythm that the drivers made.
people gonna come from miles around
Oh my that little country boy sure can play
    Go Go
    Go Johnny Go
    Go Go
    Johny be good
Well, His mama told him one day he will be a man,
And you will be the leader of a big old band.
people gonna come from miles around
to listen to you play until the sun goes down
And one day maybe your name gonna be in the lights
    Saying Johnny B. Goode tonight.
