My favourite part of the entire movie; when Marty goes bonkers on stage whilst playing the guitar solo and everybody is like 'dafuq' and he stands up and says "Your kids will love it". Priceless!
Lyrics: Way down in Louisiana Down in New Orleans Way back up in the woods among the evergreens There stood a log cabin made of earth and wood Where lived a country boy named Johnny B. This is the image and sound I want to remember Micheal J. Fox. 'Go Johnny, go!' Flippin' brilliant. Imagine a few houndred years from now some historian manages to reconstruct this file from the swamps of the 'early ages', it goes viral and people move heaven and earth to find more stuff from 'Marty McFly', but nothing... That's all they find. No record of birth, residence or other works. People will go nuts! I think this is how religions born.

For once a remake that's better than the original! Let's not forget that Ol' Chuck had to invent it before anyone could innovate it.. To be fair though, different times.. such an awesome track and even better remake, intertwined in to an epic movie, I love Back to the Future, every time I see this scene, seated or standing my body starts involuntarily dancing ;)
That's a Gibson ES 335, it didn't exist in 1955 but it did come out later in 1958 if I remember right. also Overdrive didn't exist either. I think that came out later, I could be wrong.

I wonder if, back when the movie came out in 1985, they ever recorded a slightly alternate timeline of the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance. They can't do the whole song as Chuck originally wrote it, obviously, since Marty careens off into Van Halen behavior (public domain spoiler, there), but a Director's Cut addition of the second, "gurney sack" stanza, which I've never seen in any video, would be legendary.

A parallel universe where Marty doesn’t go crazy and finishes the song
I liked it when he hit the guitar twice like all the strings at once from there was good
😂
Ikr i got scared for him when he did that in the movie 🤣🤣🤣
And has no problem with smoking.
xD
Alright, guys, this is a blues riff in B. Watch me for the changes, and try to keep up.

@@shermanator24 yes.

the annoying thing that ruins that line though, is that it was a blatant error. The song is not in B but A#

Oh, if you ever have kids and one of them when he’s eight years old, accidentally sets fire to the living room rug, go easy on him
The reason why this track sounds so good is because Marty is playing balls to the wall, like his life, his very existence depends on it...and it does!
Rorschachqp technically it doesn’t, since his parents kissed before he played it, I guess you can call it a celebration song, idk
@@alexchimp1735 Nah, remember, George is unnaturally hesitant. Just when you think he laid out Biff, he still let that ginger butt in.
@@alexchimp1735Maybe, maybe not. George wasn’t exactly 100% stable at this time.

Actually, I have never met a single person who does not like this song. It was included on the Voyager Record alongside Mozart for good reason.

yes yes but the recording is NOT his. after years he came pretty close of actually playing it, but no, MJF did NOT play(sing) the iconic solo ;)
