This makes me miss those days of journaling. I miss composition books (but not the gluing of pages 😳😝😏). I am so inspired by all of your pages full of color and sections and drawings. My memory keepers nowadays have ephemera stuck in and a few sentences about my day. I realized by watching this that I could be recording the books I’m reading and the shows were watching etc. I needed this reminder to capture more of my daily ordinary life. Thank you for taking the time.

that is awesome that you have been journaling for that long as of 2023 i have been journaling for 27 years i started 1996 when i was in middle school like 6th grade i still have all my journals since then. glad that i have them all. great to look back on then i still call my journal my daily time capsule journal i have been long time subscriber and i remember when you did that style always liked whatever style of journaling you did always just fun to see your journals

I love seeing this and it brings me back to when I was a teenager and used to keep a journal in a planner called “Pascualina”. I used to paste every single thing in there and wrote a lot, it was something me and my friends did during highschool and now I have them all stored and just hi through them when I want to stroll down memory lane. I am trying to pick the habbit back but on my own terms since the “pascualina” is different now and I don’t really like it so wish me luck!!

I really loves this! I’ve never heard of fauxbonichi before but I really love your style! Hobonichis are really pricey and I have yet to purchase one because of that reason. You used a simple $1 composition notebook and turned it into something beautiful! ❤😊

Hello there...Yes, I so enjoyed going through your 2015 composition journals. Ahhh...back in the day of composition journaling....beautiful. The two sided tape marks gave it an extra touch. Your doodles amazing. You're an artist and don't deny it.😊 Pity parties, I've had those. "I am" statements 👍... Congrats, on your 32 years of wedded bliss. I watched and enjoyed beginning to end.Loved it. Waiting for next episode 😊

That was so awesome. I love looking at old photos so this was so fun. You did great. I started keeping a journal in 2000 when I began caring for my Mom who had Alzheimer's. I go back now & am so thankful for those memories (she's deceased now). I'm watching a lot of journal videos, but just can't get the hang of actually doing a journal. Maybe soon. I love the way you do yours. TFS

I’ve followed you since the very early days and, as someone of similar age, it’s been very interesting to me to see how your life compares to mine - you in sunny Florida and me in a relatively cold England! 😀 Sorry I don’t comment much but I do watch and like (almost) every one of your videos. You’ve been very inspiring to me over the years by keeping up with your ‘daily’ visual journals, I try but I last about 6 weeks! 😀 Thanks for showing these again, it’s like memory lane and a lovely record to have. Maybe you could try some of the techniques you liked in your current journals like that lovely Intense Crayon stencil background? Crazy I’ve been journaling just as long, with the fobonichi group. I started with an A5 but switched to composition journals because of you. At the end of last year I missed this style so much I decided to go back using a real hobonichi.
It’s the humidity in Florida for mod podge. Matte Medium works better.

Thank you for sharing. It takes a lot of time to journal the way you do. How do you organize yourself to be consistent? I journal as well but but very few art in my writing. I would love to be more artsy.
Thank you so much for watching!! It might appear that I am consistent because I have daily entries, however there are many times where I am days or weeks behind. Many times I sit for a time and work on several pages at one time. I do what I can, when I can. As far as having more art in your journaling, I would suggest looking up art journaling prompts, or watching some art journaling YT channels then trying some techniques out in your book.
