@@ALazyTourist Our flag is dominated by our status as a member of the British Commonwealth that has the Monarch of England as our Head of State. Hence the red, white and blue of the UK flag is used for ours. The Australian people are ok with this but we are also proud of our independence and achievements so we’ve chosen the colours of our national floral emblem, the golden wattle, being green and gold for our international sporting uniforms.
