    Humble. He's not here to show off. He loves the music and serves the music, you can see it in his eyes. He doesn't use the music for his fame. Bravo!

    I hope that later he goes into teaching. We need someone to teach aspiring operatic sopranos (and others) how to use vibrato properly. I love opera but I often have to abandon an opera because of the poor use of vibrato by some of the performers. I know there are others who feel this way.

    Aksel: I sent you a few days ago an important 'comment' but , as most of time they come back to me!
    You have kindly answered some of my Questions , or suggestions. Now they don't go though!?!? When I suggested to you that you would have a huge public in Japan, Korea and China - where treble voices are much appreciated - you answered that you did not really have the time.
    The other day I suggested that you and your advisors make a DVD of all your performances between age 11 and 13 . I would be happy to contribute financially to such a plan, if you like.
    No answer! Do you still look at the comments that your loyal fans and you via UA-cam?
    I really want to correspond with you, socially since on the 11 April you will have your 14 th b'day and amazingly your voice ha not 'broken' yet. It only gets ample, more volume but keeps it's magical clarity..... THILO von Watzdof.

    You may want to consider a career as a counter tenor in your future. Getting good work is easy and as an excellent counter tenor, you can name your price as they are few and far between. One of the things that puts my home of Montreal on the map is the love of baroque music and our 12 excellent baroque orchestras who employ the best of international guests artists and soloists. There is much new contemporary music for counter tenor and our orchestras have special programs for contemporary composers working in a baroque style. Would you be interesting to perform for a very appreciative Montreal Audience? We have a two week long baroque festival where 92 concerts are offered. One cannnot see it all. I see as much of the best that I can. There are other related meetings and lectures on the baroque period with a focus on music. I find these fascinating. They happen in the amphitheatre at McGill University campus. These are doctors of baroque from the university and they inform us greatly.

    • @bloodandwinearered
      @bloodandwinearered 7 років тому +1

      It is highly possible your concert will be made into a disc at a Montreal sound studio. Or one of our old churches with excellent acoustics. Only 30 minutes away from the best acoustics in Montreal.

    • @AkselRykkvin
      @AkselRykkvin  7 років тому

      Wow, that sounds like a marvellous festival! You are lucky to live there. When is it?

    • @bloodandwinearered
      @bloodandwinearered 7 років тому

      Like your country (Your king invited me to dinner with him following my performance in the Oslo Opera House..) I have diplomatic training so I know how to speak and behave in terms of proper respect and manners. Anyway, both of our countries are cold so many festivals happen in the summer time. This festival is also in the summer time. There are concerts on the streets! Before we attend a concert we hear old instruments and old music. It is so welcoming. Many wear old baroque costumes. You would lo it, as I love it. Such a grand festival feeling about it. A big happening in our city. Many in the audience. All quite, respectful and not clapping between movements. I love it. But how much better to be a performer. A real participant. I have already spoken to a multi-millionaire friend about bringing you to Canada to perform with our superior orchestras. He keep all the baroque orchestras in Montreal afloat with his money. A huge sponsor and on the board of directors.. There is also free food and drinks before concerts. I just love it. But, I cannot watch 92 concerts in just two weeks. Sometimes, a special coffee house will make us fancy coffee before the concert. It is free! They are sponsors. Please come to Montreal if invited. I would love to take you out for a fancy diner at Les Halles following you trip. My multi-millionaire friends and his wife will join us to praise you and ask many question. They are very curious people and love and support the arts.

    • @bloodandwinearered
      @bloodandwinearered 7 років тому

      All famous people go to Les Halles following their performance. It is "THE" thing to do. I have seen many big name opera singers and ballerinas there with famous choreographers. Jessie Normand! Roland Petit. Natalia Markova etc.. Even Cher and Madonna. .

    • @bloodandwinearered
      @bloodandwinearered 7 років тому

      LOL, I may let my multi-millionaire friend pick up our bill. I will be their pleasure to meet you. They know the very famous conductor Eve Abe. I also worked with him on La Traviata. He as well started out as a treble and now is the first conductor for Placido Domingo. Go for your dream . It is yours for the taking with your talent as a musician. Only after you leap, will the safety net appear before your eyes. I am a wise old man. I had great career. I wish the same for you.
