Servicing a Giant Revive and a record breaking testdrive

- The Giant Revive LX with Bafang motor gets a good servicing. The hub gets new oil and new grease, a new Schwalbe tire and the homemade sprocket will be assembled. Also we will replace the rear mudguard and fix a broken bolt and a tap that broke of. Servicing bikes is a nice hobby, but sometimes it takes a lot of effort.
After all the hard work we will make a surprising testdrive.

I'm thinking of putting a tsdz8 on mine, though i may need to at least replace the original front fork and wheel with a one that has disc brake mount. Maybe make a bolt on adapter for the rear later. Then again i don't think the revive is meant to go much past 30kph regularly.
I agree, standard rollerbrakes are not sufficient when you electrify a Giant Revive. If you have a model with v-brakes, those can easily be upgraded to hydraulic v-brakes.
Hallo. Ik heb een accu gekocht die niet meer werkte (€10).
Sparta E-motion C1 ect de platte met handvat. Als ik de multiemeter gebruik staat er 23,8V op de accu staat zelf 25,4V 10AH.
Ik krijg de accu niet meer dicht want het is 1 bende aan de binnenkant (wel knap dat i dicht is gegaan ooit).
Wat zou ik kunnen proberen om hem weer naar de 25,4V te krijgen? Hij gaat zowiezo niet in een ebike komen.
Ik hoor het graag.

750W?
500W 36V, but maybe this year I will upgrade to 750W, 48V…that’ll be fun!
