my home was holmewood, originally born in east bowling, moved to west bowling when i was 13, i lived in thorp edge, swain house, great horton, manningham, bierley. finally settled in holmewood. now living in cleethorpes

sounds like me a bit ..born in holmewood ,lived for short periods in allerton,bierley,west bowling,tong street,thorpe edge,ravenscliffe etc but always ended back up in holmewood..eventually moved away permanently in the late 90's .. still occasionally visit there for family/friends etc .. but no way in hell i would ever live there again :)
Ya lived in the worst dives in Bradford, I've hung around alot of them and lived in Holmwood Buttershaw and Brierley, and I've also hung around parkside, woodsside, Wibsey, west bowling, ravensclife, thorpedge, idle, when I was a skinhead, they was rough areas, but ok if you knew the people. But eh, it's Bradford for ya, an it's alus bin rough. Not changed much.
How come the flytipping is so bad in Bradford and the grass is never cut also loads of stray horses unlike any other city
we have the same problem with stay horses in a lot of areas in the Black Country here in the West Midlands especially my town walsall
Because there is a lot of travellers in bradford even living in houses on estates like ravenscilffe.
Just like estates in leeds like halton moor that is the same..

Lived Holmewood 83/84 all that i did was fight had to as wasn't from there..can mention names but no point desendants still there..not the best place to live

As someone from Bradford I can say I feel sorry for a lot of people who live on this estate. I’ve worked with people who have lived there and some of that crap they have to put up with is beyond me. I would like the labour government to take a really hard line on criminals.

I think BBCC's music is alright. I fuck with a couple of their tunes but it starts to get repetitive pretty quick. They're still better than a lot of the garbage music we have here in America. Our music is so boring and unoriginal.
