I definitely needed to hear this today. I have been doing lashes since last June but I still don’t have confidence in myself. I opened a studio in September and hoped my family would support me. But haven’t had any lash clients. I get a few facials and I want to do more lash sets.

What you said is True. Once you offer for free, word spreads like Fire for Free Services and that's when it becomes a Finacial Loss. As a beginner lash artist, how much would you suggest we should be charging models ? Also does the price of Charges Vary too depending on the Service you are servicing on the Model for Example: Classic Lashes, Volume, Hybrid, Mega Volumes and etc. Thanks in advance.

Hello Yoyis, I’m a new subscriber and I love how well you go into detail in your videos. I recently started watching today and I’m excited to start lashing. I will be taking my course next weekend😊 && I am glad to hear tips from you because I was confused into knowing how much to charge. I was definitely gonna start at $50, just until I get more hands on practice with family and friends. But once months start going by, I will slowly increase prices, as well as taking more courses to better myself and techniques.

I wish my daughter would follow in your footsteps when it comes to raising her prices. Yes, they are mostly family and friends, but they are 100% using her for the cheapest price possible. She does work from home most of the time when it comes to just lashing, but she's still extremely low on her prices. It makes me mad and sad at the same time. She doesn't realize she is worth way more than what she's charging.
I agree! When I was starting I really lowballed myself since I was starting and less experience but I tried my best in getting more clients until I can feel that I am now ready to raise my price and I deserved it!
Oh man that makes me so sad 😭... Show her this video hopefully it'll inspire her to raise her prices. She's honestly wasting her time doing cheap work for people who don't value her work. Because I can guarantee you once she raises her prices they're all going to disappear. And if she's scared of that tell her that's not her problem. I would much rather have to work once with one client to come up with my price than work on 3 girls to come up with that some price. Work smarter not harder. She's lucky to have a mom like you who supports her. She will need that support if she looses clients when she raises her prices but trust me she's going to be so much happier working less to make more.
What people don't understand is it cost money to rent space, buy supplies, pay monthly internet fees, monthly scheduling fees, the hours you spend! When the cost of living goes up, the prices HAVE to go UP! Things don't cost the same!
