This is actually very illuminating, I think the humor in the reading and music adds a levity and understandability to a philosophers idioms and language of seriousness. Bravo subscribed.

A doctor can heal you if he finds the cause, philosophers try to find the czuse but no solution. Because a doctor has knowledge of the human body and diseases, does not Mean he himself will not become ill and die before his time.

@@PhenomenologyClub idk. For one thing it’s very difficult to find people online reading out Heidegger, and for another thing the presentation of it here is very unique. Now I’m not dissing it. Heidegger probably would have liked it honestly lol

@@PhenomenologyClub Yeah I figured. You remind me of a friend of mine who’s now teaching Greek plays. Btw, I wonder what you think of this: so, I went from studying liberal arts (where I became a Heideggerian-Wittgensteinian-Ciceronian all in one) to studying language technology (where I am a linguist and a programmer) which is very much a kind of technological career.
I mean, it’s difficult for me not to think that my current field looks at language and thought as a standing reserve. And I wonder if I am just becoming a human instrument when I work on it. People often forget to really listen carefully to other languages for instance before putting them into categories. But I hope that my science might be able to give others at least a little more reason to really look at essences of things as H. or Cic. would say or their various relations separate from the sum of each part, as Witt. may say. I don’t know. It’s a struggle for me.

@@PhenomenologyClub I did start a blog to try to hold on to these mystical philosophies of mine in a meaningful way, by the way, and to maybe share them with others, but I’m not sure it’ll be enough.
This is how I’d summarize what Heidegger has taught me though: don’t just encounter the world, let the world encounter you, and let the course of thinking towards which your language inclines you hold sway
