Full time developer here. The AWS interface is still “borderline hostile”
Fair 😂
Is the CLI any better?
Lmao yep
@@tablettablete186
AWS CLI tool is god awful.
It's auto complete suggestions lag out your terminal badly to the point where it's quicker not to try tab complete.
And the hierarchy of commands are all fucking mangled and makes no sense.
E.g If you want to edit a network you have to go like 4 objects deep into vpc commands before network options appear.
Azure CLI is much much better in terms of auto complete speed and it's logistical groupings of resource commands is great.
E g
Guess where all the network commands can be found?
az network
E.g az network vnet list
Or az vm for all the virtual machine commands
E.g az vm list
Azure does everything better then AWS except for one thing which is API.
AWS have much more thorough APIs across all their services and really if you're not leaning into coding around the AWS API then you're better off using Azure or GCP.
CLI is pretty neat TBH
To be fair, Unicode doesn't even suggest teeth for the nerd emoji. Their description just says "nerd face" and then whoever makes the fonts decides how to implement that. It's mostly about trends so if Apple changes it - others might too.
Ah OK, I should have looked that up more then!

As someone who's released multiple apps across different platforms, including Windows, I'd like to understand how Samsung managed to 'accidentally' release Internet. It's such an involved and sometimes headache-inducing process, so I find it hard to believe that it wasn't on purpose?
Exactly writing windows code and they testing it must for 3-6 months of process for giant corps like samsung
My assumption is that they probably released an unfinished version as opposed to a much more recent closer to the production version. That would explain why they had to pull the unfinished browser entry. Although, this is still just an assumption and throughout all of this, I can only speculate about how dumb Samsung could be.
It was possibly a promotional "accident", meaning "Yes, we're gonna do this, deal with it."😊
Messed up launch dates probably
Loved the Not Just Bikes vibe for the Cybertruck bit.
2:00 Holy shit. This was like a childhood dream to be able to do this, its actually reality now. Now, only if Microsoft killed Paint 3D and put its features to classic Paint as well, it would be an actual competitor to some other "Painting" software in the wild.
im confused, your childhood dream was ai art in Microsoft paint?
@@gama2064 layers would be nice 🤔
@@KOTYAR0 It already has layers dummy
@@noellewastaken oh, honestly thanks for letting me know
honestly, im more shocked that mspaint *still* does not support windows INK, despite windows ink being a "thing" since the vista days. They added layers before they added pressure sensitivity via windows ink.
Getting a punctual ride with the Deutsche Bahn is pretty lucky, especially if you travel "Nahverkehr". Glad you made it out alive.
Also regarding Firefox for android: I'd like to point out that the F-droid version of Firefox(Fennec) already has extension support, and I've been running ublock origin for a while now.
I also use Fennec F-Droid & you're incorrect abt. it having full extension support. Android FireFox (and Fennec F-Droid) had support for a limited whitelist of extensions, but FireFox Developer Edition (and Fennec) also gave you the ability to specify your own whitelist with a Mozzila Developer account.
If you can't afford Lamborghini.. at least you can afford it's logo.
Me - Naah.. pass 😢 ( can't afford that either )
OGs remember when they tried to make Paint with an additional dimension
I'd love to buy the fold but for the price it doesn't offer any incentive other than the form factor when you consider that the Ultra has a bigger battery and a better camera. Paying an extra $700 for the fold is a poor value prop IMO.
Even the Flip should become cheaper. $800 is just not reasonable for me to even consider trying one out.
And longevity (+4 years) is a serious concern
@@Mr.Anders0n_ Absolutely!
Same as the Flip phone, it's a massive downgrade compared to Galaxy S23 (even S22) but it is more expensive. 🤣🤣🤣
@@Mr.Anders0n_ also the ridiculous screen replacement price its almost 1/3 the cost of the whole phone
0:08 Deutsche Bahn being punctual is something indeed unusual🤣
Not only does the Cybertruck cost 50% more, its range has also been cut in almost half (300 miles ineatd of 500 miles)
Ngl I thought it was gonna be $100k+
there is an optional range extender battery that mounts into the trunk that'll extend the range to 440 miles. It's may not be the standard range out of the box but it does have the advantage of being removable when normal use is under 300 miles to save carrying the extra weight around.
@@Hairy_Takoyaki You could also put a diesel generator into the trunk that charges the battery. Not what people expected based on the initial promises though...
Just wanna say: super impressed with the quality of your show! Great amount of topics but still highlighting the important points you don't get from the press release.
It's good that the Fold 5 sales are weak, this should convince Samsung that they need to address users concerns i.e. lack of spen slot and too narrow front screen, meh camera instead of obsessing over how thin the device can be
Not to mention the under display front camera. Samsung should ditch that with the punch hole camera for the Z Fold 6 until Samsung fix all the issues of the under display camera.
Narrow front screen and that under display cameras literally the bests things on that device. Just better zoom camera and s-pen slot missing.
@@johandavid9774 Flip should go back to the smaller screen because the whole idea is that you can't use the phone thoughtlessly and you actually have to physically open it and use it. But a wide screen makes a lot of sense on the Fold as it is a normal phone that has the special ability of folding out into a tablet.
@@GH0STST4RSCR34Mnah. Its tv remote controller 😂
Take a look at the OnePlus Open it literately has all of that other then the pen slot that I agree would be a killer feature,
The open is
* lighter,
* thinner,
* has bigger screen,
* bigger battery,
* better and more standardized resolution,
* better camera,
* better software (well it is better but it as more bugs, not super many but still more)
* charge much much faster, it takes like 40 minutes to charge from 0-100% and it last almost 1½ day (depending on usage)
* Has a IR blaster, it is soooo underestimated.
Downside is
* No wire less charging
* In theory it has pen support but not in reality since the compatible pen is only sold in China under the Oppo parent brand
So if Samsung could just copy OnePlus or better yet the Huawei Mate X3 (Only available in China at the moment and the software is questionable, but it has the best foldable hardware), and make room for the S-pen inside then they would have a killer phone and would take back the crown since there brand will always give them an advantage.
6:41 same here. will upgrade when they integrate the s pen
Everyone thinking about what Samsung did, while I am still baffled by the punctual and smooth DB 😊
new samsung database ? i don't get it
@@haresh-sq4kf deutsche bahn, the german national train provider
1:19 Loving the 'NICE' at the end of the sentence there
S23 line selling better than S22 for Snapdragon chip
I predict S24 and S24+ with Exynos drop sells figures than S23 line
Flip and Fold not well sold for competition having way better foldables
Yes this is pretty obvious ,and Fold 5 has zero improvements for people to switch from Fold 4.And Yes S24 sales will be lower its mind blowing that Samsung is still trying to push this Exynis shit for so many years.
S23 is what S22 should have been.
I've been following you since early Oppo and I've always enjoyed your content. Unfortunately I missed the party invitation, or it might just have gotten lost, but i must commend you on this "new" video form factor. It exceptionally supersedes your older model (channel) and I very much enjoy it. Thank you!
Imma petition the Unicode Consortium to add a massive pimple to that emoji.
I'll sign your petition.
It's impressive how much our society is devolving into a bunch of easily-offended snowflakes.
Samsung internet was the best browser on Android. Except on small problem. No standard/bulk format data/bookmark export, and no proper sync with pc.
I had to do some crazy stuff and write scripts in 2 languages to export my data. I'm done.
No proper chromium extension support either, which considering it has the add to Chrome button whenever you go to the extensions store for chrome, it is possible. Samsung just refuses to enable said feature.
with that being said, both the kiwi browser and the firefox browser, support extensions fully, so i'm good. so does the yandex browser.
A Lamborghini owner may never say I own a Redmi, but the Redmi owner would definitely say that they own a Lambo
Gee who would've guessed that releasing the same fold 4 times in a row wouldn't have convinced people to upgrade
Samsung is preparing to take over windows the same way they took over android until google started fighting back and updating the design language and upstream android features
As an american, I love your impression of us lol. Way too accurate
I got a S23Ultra. I definitely understand the hype. Its not about money. Most people either use high end, midrange or mostly low end. Low end phones like Xiaomi and what not.
As more people are coming out of low income houses to middle class,(Such as myself) we tend to upgrade to flagships over midrange or high ends.
These days most Xiaomi phones are midrange, not low end. Midrange is relative these days given that my "midrange" has 12gb RAM and the processor while the regular S23 doesn't get that even if you wanted and could afford it.
@@ShaferHart No matter how high the specs are, a Xiaomi will always be regarded as a cheap low end phone.
I mean what other options are there for people outside of high end, midrange, or low end
@jimmymac2292 it's called broke. And you're option is stealing or looting😂
Regarding the Samsung Internet desktop browser. While it may be just a regular Samsung screwup, my mind is paranoid enough to ask: Was it really Scamsung, or was it an impersonator who managed to submit a nice trojan with Samsung branding into the MS store? A whole day of squatting would bring in a decent haul. With zero official announcements about the incident, I'd be a bit worried.
Now that you mention it, it is somewhat strange.
Or it might just be a regular idiotical Samsung employee who managed to do such thing just like the ones who used ChatGPT to write Samsung code ( 💀) therefore leaking data from samsung into ChatGPT, and then proceeding to try their best to hide everything that happened, just like they always do whenever something big/controversial happens. Typical.
I've a fold4. The fold5 is literally the same phone, you can't even call it an upgrade. Hoping for an upgrade with the 6 too.
I have a fold3, holding on until samsung makes the outer display wider
@@James__Smith I didn't like it at first, but now I'm actually glad it's narrower, since I can much easier reach the gop corners with my thumb and my hand remaining in a secure grip. But it definitely is a weird cover aspect ratio.
it'll be funny if samsung browser would hit ios but ill give the PC version a try whenever it comes out plus im waiting for the day where we buy a PC part and it'll come with a chip that can self learn and become a huge AI assistant all hosted by you etc
Your PC will never make coffee for you or prevent your GF from leaving because you cheat her with the AI, though.
I really do like the friday checkout, great work
Does the paint ai feature work locally or use a web service?
Perhaps Samsung will finally get it through their thick heads that premium smartphone buyers aren’t interested in foldables with a bizarre aspect ratios? Instead of learning from previous mistakes, they just keep doubling down on them, and rightfully losing market share because of their lazy design choices.
I’m waiting for the SD8 Gen 3 foldables to be released and unfortunately Samsung is not among the contenders because of their ridiculously narrow external screen. Considering most users spend nearly half the time using foldables closed, and that these foldables cost more than most notebooks, it’s clearly a deal killer.
Exactly! I'm on my second Samsung phone and in time for an upgrade. I thought about foldables but there's NO WAY I'm dropping that kind money on a phone with that stupid aspect ratio PLUS mediocre specs. I had hope for the fold 5 to be like Galaxy Ultra with built-in stylus but they didn't deliver... Sticking with the old fashioned brick for now
@@Mr.Anders0n_ It’s sad that I’m far more concerned over which SOC my next phone will use vs the brand, size, etc. We’ve surpassed peak smartphone and these manufacturers just keep pumping out the same old, general issue slabs instead of taking a gamble and trying to innovate with something unique? If you used a smartphone before the first iPhone was released, you know what I speak of. There were all kinds of different smartphones. Now, it’s anything you like, so long as it’s a rectangular slab with a screen on one side. It’s just so lazy. 🙄
@@ToeCutter0 it isn't only the phones it's all tech gadgets. I'm old enough to remember walking into a tech store and drooling over the gadgets they had (wasn't old enough to buy any). Smartphones have cannibalized all of them. Nowadays even "smart" watches don't excite me. I prefer regular watches 😴
Would you want it to be 16:9 when opened?
@@QH96 i want it to be in landscape orientation when opened, just like the way Chinese brands are doing it
Firefox is really good on Android. Things like address bar at bottom, auto closing of tabs etc are really handy.
The difference in price between the fold, flip and the S range is around that of a budget device so unless you want them and are fine with sacrificing cameras and processor power you'd rather go for the flagship.
I would recommend the OnePlus Open, it has much better camera then the Fold. But not then the Ultra. And is also a much better foldable then the Fold. It also rocks a snapdragon Gen 2 and more RAM then a lot of computers, so processing power is not an issue ether.
The fold is a good tablet that you can fold into a useless phone. While the Open is a great phone that you can open up in to a good tablet.
The Open is not perfect but it is the best foldable available on the western market. Even the Huawei Mate X3 has the best hardware (but it is not available here and the software might be a bit iffy)
But Samsung dropped the ball they are like 3 generation behind the competition when it comes to foldable. But I have high hopes for them next year, they must come with a total redesign now when other brands are entering the west.
@@1wJanThan.
NOT then.
Huawei Mate X5 is better.
@@PSYCHOV3N0M Thank you. English is not my native language so my grammar is not always perfect.
But I agree, the Mate X3 has the best hardware, but isn't available on the western market and the software seems a bit iffy at the moment, but it will hopefully be fixed before the global release some time next year. (But then it's already old and Fold 6 will be just around the corner).
But it is exciting for the future now when Samsung finally has some competition in the west. Hardware wise I would say that Mate X3 is 1 year ahead of Open and Open is 3 years or more ahead of Fold 5.
There is a bigger upgrade between open and mate compared to the Fold 5 then it is between my old Fold 2 and the Fold 5.
I'm excited for Samsung's response to this next summer. :) But I would hold off from buying it until One Plus has their next release a year from now.
New reddit logo is nightmare juice
Amazon and the phrase “humans for rent”… hmm…
Now, how can I use Samsung Internet on Windows without Bixby??
Cortana ooh-na-na!
DB on time?!?!?! You're a blessed one
"Budget brands", oh brother. 🤦🏻♂
Getting better extension support back in Firefox on mobile is great, but we still can't browse or access system files, which disappointingly means no non-store extensions.
Samsung internet is a great browser imo, my favourite on mobile by far. Not sure if I would have interest in a windows version but I guess no harm in more competition.
I understand it is just a chromium fork; leveraging on huge Samsung sales so to obtain payment for default web browser from Google. Does it has any feature that you like a lot?
First thing I ditch like it's a contagious virus. People can differ though
Samsung Internet is a good browser. But I prefer some lightweight Chromium-based one with proper adblock like Cromite, which I'm using.
I use only samsung internet on my phone
It has a real darkmode unlike chrome or edge where websites are still white with black letters.
Since day 1 of the first Z fold people have been complaining of the width of the outer diaplay. They haven’t done anything about it. Actually glad they are taking the hit on this.
well waiting for new browser didnt knew samsung did a small trick
Even the Samsung Internet Browser on mobile has an annoying bug. If you create multiple folders inside the bookmarks, the bookmarks within those folders will either disappear or end up in some other folder. It's really frustrating! 😡
Have been using Samsung internet with multiple folders for years and I've never seen this.
@@Luke357 in my case, I'm still suffering from it. I even sent an email to their developer, though they said it would be fixed in the next update, but sadly, it didn't.
BTW could you please tell me how many folder do you have?
I have 8 folders with some nested with other folders. No issues.@@hanve
The note 20 the last in the note range. So 2 years later everyone who wanted to replace their note most likely waited replaced it with the s23
I just want a rectanglar prism for my phone thanks no folding.

bro mentioned deutsche bahn and punctual in one sentence 💀
Ich dachte jetzt, dass die Bahn mitten drin ausgefallen ist und du deswegen ein ganzes Video machen konntest lmao.
Firefox Nightly+Custom add-on collection.
I'm still rocking my fold 3 as well, with very little design change no s pen inclusion and little change to the form factor there is little incentive to upgrade
3:59 i googled that out of curiosity (i just finished fixing my old Samsung) and i pressed the get button
The extension support on Firefox Android is very exciting
Thanks for the review! What mail app could you recommend for Windows 11 newbie. I like Apple mail app.
MS Paint is becoming really good actually
apple bank sounds somehow sane. dunno if they can make banking any smarter, but it definitely is something big companies want to do here.
DB has been surprisingly punctual these last few months in my city in and around Frankfurt.
that punctual DB schedule was one in a million. sincerely, DB user.
why did you change your YT channel name? I was looking for Tech Altar but cannot find it. And YT Algo suggested yours so I was hesitant.
Samsung Internet devs probably didn't handle some edge cases and had to pull back for a fresh coat of chrome.

Samsung is realizing a desktop browser? That’s cool.
Mobile extensions for Firefox are gonna be awesome. After trying kiwi and yandex I can't wait for the proper one from FF
I would buy that Microsoft Windows jumper (sweater)
Next year fold6 finna be lit!
All these freakin centralaised powers Crumble. And so be it.
German trains in time? Is this a prank?
20% off and they add "Standard Rate (20%)" That is indeed genius!
What do Firefox mean that they are enabling extensions on Android? Mine were already working
Without either enabling extension support in the settings or changing some flag in about:config, you were limited to only a few extensions.
Samsung Internet is the best browsers for me mainly because it's let me personalize bottom toolbars, dark mode, ads blocks, and pc like tab bar. Though it doesn't feel as snappy as Chrome, Edge it need improvement in performance and feels
Pretty sure all of this can be done with Firefox

Samsung could greatly improve customer experience by making its bloatware uninstallable. Great hardware but the shovelware is a waste of space.
Awesome, so jelly that you've got HSR as an Aussie ahaha. Have heard DB isn't always reliable with the schedule?
Z Fold 6 is gonna be so exciting ♥️

Anybody know if the Dall-E 3 image generator will have a anti-NSFW 'firewall' filter in Paint? Or will you be able to generate literal AI Porn directly in MS Paint now? Asking for a friend.
Microsoft is kinda strict about what they let you generate with Bing Image Creator, so don't get your hopes up.
Dalle-3 has always been pretty censored but it pretty easy to take the images and import them to control net and inpaint the clothing off. I honestly do no why you would bother just use a version of good checkpoint of SD and Fooocus for a simple to use GUI. Dalle 3 only good feature is its text and it general does hands better. I am sure that by next month someone will have a checkpoint that will come close to Dalle-3 capability. In other words don't waste your time trying to make naughty picture in paint.
If you are on your Fold 3 I would recommend taking a look at the OnePlus Open. I was still on Fold 2 and couldn't find a reason to upgrade to the latest Fold since I could basically count the difference between 2 and 5 on one hand and it it still didn't address any of my main issues.
The Open is not perfect but the generational leap between the Fold 5 and Open is like the leap we had between Fold 1 and Fold 2.
And it did address all the major issues regarding weight, aspect ratios, outer display size.
It did fix the crease and it folds flatter then the Fold 5 but I never had an issue with that for my Fold 2 in real life use. After a few days you stop thinking of that.
Also it has an IR blaster, I never thought I would use that as much as I do. I use it everyday to control the projector/TV/AC
I prefer the pixel fold more, the UI is much cleaner
@@shomari17 Hehehe I have a Pixel too. i used to have it along side my Fold for some apps that didn't play well with the strange aspect ratio. Haven't needed to use it since I got the Open. But I am keeping it as a backup if I want to go to the beach.
Since sand and foldable phones aren't a good combination.
So if you want a slab phone I think the pixel series is a solid choice. Also the Samsung Ultra and Iphone Pro Max are a good choice.
They don't sell the OnePlus Open in Germany. I could import one, but I'm a bit hesitant to get a foldable without local warranty protection
@@TheFridayCheckout Are you sure? I'm in Sweden so we are like neighbours and it is available here.

I some how have a good confidence that even if they are messing up right now eventually they will make it right,I generally don't have this kind of confidence on any human beings, considering the company has come a long way so there is a chance they will do better,my personal favorite phone brand was Nokia and it was heartbreaking to see them go down for the idiocy of others (other company)who didn't know what to do next ,fortunately us tech companies have truly good competitors nowadays
I will never go back to a plastic screen.
I just change to oppo find n3 as my country doesn’t have one plus open and because my samsung fold 2 back panel suddenly falls off and I went to two different Samsung center because both center tells me I better just sell my fold 2 as many fold 2 back panels falls off so even they helps me repair with ai myself paids for it it will falls off again
I would love to get Flip but the sacrifice in camera....
Wait, Paint is not a serious image editor already?
Extensions on android firefox is great and all but it doesnt help the fact that it is so slow. And buggy.
I've always thought that Samsung, Apple, and Intel need to cooperate on modem development
I wouldn't be surprised if many Samsung apps end up on Windows because they have been trying to unify their experience on all their OSes.
No real customers got cybertrucks. The "customers" were 10 hand selected employee's, so probably people that were already test driving. It was nothing but a PR stunt.
Every big reliable tech giant: “let’s check for all bugs before we release the product”
Samsung: “this time let’s unofficially release it and let users report the bugs to us for free”
Amazon - what were they thinking - glasses - as that all - really ?
I'd love to see samsung browser for windows and even Mac OS
Envious your Zfold3 is still working. Mine got the black line of death at the crease just a little bit after the warranty ran out. I won't be buying a foldable for a very long time.
Because what we needed was another browser lol
I think more people are realizing that it's better to get a flagship and use it for 3-5 years rather than midrange and buy a new one a year later.
To be honest AWS user interface needs a hot reboot.. its more of expert friendly
1:59 i use kde connect for android and my fedora workstation (gnome shell).
The Samsung Z Fold are such good phones, no one needs to trade it.
