Beautiful work there young man! You are making me want a Tig welder even more. However, I have a lot of stainless steel MMA rods and have no doubt I will be able get a reasonable bead but nothing as great as yours!
MMA rods can also be really good on stainless especially if you have ability to keep them dry. Hot slag is a bit of a problem and it gets you every time when you forget to wear glasses 🙂
@@weld-deluxltd7635 Just watching your Propane torch gas cutting video, another skill I need to improve. I have all the manual gear and gases but rarely use it, I need to use it or sell it on? Anyway, Yes, thank you for your reply on stainless steel. I will try to find some decent thickness stainless and have a go. As for "hot slag", yes it can be dangerous even on mild steel rods and also the female type! Ha ha ha ha ha ha....
To be honest i can not remember, they would be different on different thicknesses, i am planning whole series of videos for people who just starting to learn. Consider to join
