Point #1 is very important. Like that saying goes, "If you couldn't handle me at my worst, then you don't deserve me at my best" Or however it does. What Vincent calls version 1.0 (or in some cases, 0.5) is when you're at your "worst". But your version 2.0 is when you're at your absolute best.
It's possible when people don't want to go through personal growth, it's because they're afraid they'll outgrow their ex or not want them back. Being the dumpee, I understand. But I can say with confidence after over 1 year in no contact, it's actually a great thing.
Keep pushing, you've got this! Strive for self improvement

literally just level up in life, either workout, career, and get better at communication. But at this point, you wouldnt even want your ex back.

Can you do a video on if it’s okay to reach out to your ex if one of her family member passes away. I’m in this situation because her mom reached out to me but I’m not sure if I should send my condolences to my ex.

This is great information, but can anyone care to explain what the meaning of "an ex" actually means? Does it only apply to someone who you were in a long term relationship/marriage with? Or can it also apply to someone you were only dating short term? It's very confusing.
