Awesome video the only thing I wish is that you had a forward facing camera sometimes you can show a split screen. When you're describing the terrain it would be awesome to get a visual. Thanks.
I started my PPL/H on Cabri G2 in the Paris subburb in France 4 month ago and your videos are for me the greatest source of inspiration ever. Sam, you're doing a great job and the way you're managing things (smooth and relax) is very impressive. Misha, I like the way you make youre students feeling confident. My FI is applying the same rules and mood. And the result is quite the same, I hope my skills are improving week after week. But the most interresting is (keeping things relative) that each time you share a video, it is in line with my weekly lesson. Last week I was improving the coms, this week I will start to discover the R44. So, thanks again, it's always a pleasure for me to watch your videos and your country is so beautiful...
I'm running out of words for the scenery.. what a staggeringly beautiful country you live and work in. A sightseeing trip over there is definitely on my bucket list. Keep the videos coming.. I can't get enough of them ! Lol. I kept clicking 'like', but it still only counts as one.. pity :-) Cheers. ..
wow man this was an awesome video because it shows life as a pilot not as a student... Love that you got to do some work while still in flight school. One lucky man Sam.
i really like that forward looking cameraangle. Its great when u give instructions depending on obstacles so the viewer can understand what you guys are looking for and get behind the thoughtprocess a little better. Would like to see that angle more often in your videos! Keep up the great work and keep inspiring new pilots!
Very cool to see something you might see in a job as a helicopter pilot. looks like a very fun type of flying, especially figuring out the fastest approach to the spot down at the end of the valley. Great to see.
I'd love to be a helicopter pilot. I've loved fixed wing since I was a boy, but I just recently fell in love with rotorcraft ever since the hospital MedEvac'd my grandfather and seeing the utility and power these awesome machines have and being able to land in a bank's parking lot outside a tiny rural hospital. I hope MSFS adds them soon!
best of my knowledge ,all robinson have the typical seat belt design, its a way to cut costs and cheaper then the 4 point seat belts, flown 22,44s never seen anything other then car type seat belts,
Curious how many students you have a year?..how many certify, and how many actually find real work as a helicopter pilot after finishing at BCHelicopters?
So I have to ask this question...Fixed Wing Pilot Commercial/Instrument pilot with a little less than 2,000 hours logged. What is the cost to transition into Rotary Aircraft?? I've heard cost more than 70K US if your starting from 0 hours. I'm thinking of a trip up your way and see if I can arrange an introduction flight, should be an awesome experience.
It’s 5am in London My block just had a fire alarm I can’t get back to sleep I had nothing to do for 3 hours Now I have something great to do for the next half hour
Because airplane crashes are usually quite violent, most helicopter crashes are tail detachments / other damage that disables the craft, but doesn't seriously injure or kill the crew.
hello mischa .... you've seen that you often have a twitch ... that makes you move your elbows and shoulders .... possibly it's a nervous twitch .... but I've had that observation in you. ..quizas be a passenger for all that responsibility you take ... take care ... and enjoy ..!.🙂🤗 🐵🦊🐴🐃🐒🐱🐱🐄🦍🐈🦄🐷🐶🦁🦓🐖🐕🐯🦌🐗🐩🐅🐽🐺🐆🐂🐏🐑🐭🦔🐔🐐🦇🐓🐪🐀🐻🐣🐫🐹🐤🐤🦒🐰🐥🐘🐦🦏🐿🦃🐧
wow hiking is supposed to be eco friendly, in touch with nature, getting up is the accomplishment, and here are millenials just taking the helicopter up.. fml

Really interesting to watch you train and coach the pilot. You have a very good demeanor with trainees and so calm

Thanks guys really cool to see some more practical operational stuff and also nice to see Sam getting some 'Turbine Time' for his log book
wow man this was an awesome video because it shows life as a pilot not as a student... Love that you got to do some work while still in flight school. One lucky man Sam.
I was totally consumed watching work get done. Thanks for showing the process.
Sam handles the 66 like a pro. Sharp kid.
11:37 It looked like you were getting ready to light up a Marlboro lol

ElcurionExodus that’s awesome, thanks for the feedback.
I could watch this all day!
Really enjoyed this episode! Great look into actual work scenarios.

Where can I find the helmet his student is wearing, is there a online site where you can buy it?
I could watch that all day
As always. Some great relaxing time viewing the beautiful Canadian landscape with some nice heli time.
Really enjoyed this one!
G'DAY, Misha Master instructor And a Boss Pilot, Cheers from Western Australia 🇦🇺 👍
Very nice place to be a helicopter pilot, thanks for that awesome episode’s
Perfect!! Love the R66
Great flight reminds me of the great ride I had in Maui in an Eco-Star Helicopter what a great machine.
"Did it go?" haha definitely a question one asks a lot when using an InReach.
Great chance for some real world experience. Excellent... 🚁
Great vid!! Super interesting!

Hi there,, where can I buy the helmet?,, I live in California ,, thank you
Very cool guys!!
Nice.. I want also like to ride this helicopter. How could I, please tell me..
Those trees look soo close!
Love it nice video thx
Interesting...the 66 has the “typical” automobile seat belt vs the 4-point in the cabri.
best of my knowledge ,all robinson have the typical seat belt design, its a way to cut costs and cheaper then the 4 point seat belts, flown 22,44s never seen anything other then car type seat belts,
We got 4-point harness on the front seats in our 44. You can get the 66 with 5-point if you fancy ..
Where’s that squeekee intro music, new wave electronic...name please?🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🤔
Would love to see the pov of the landing dam nice vid
You can sense the helicopter is a bigger beast...

Love the American flag on Sam's helmet. Misha had better get the Canadian flag on his.
Students riding with a student pilot. How much extra credit did they get for risking it? LOL
I assume this is in the 66?
It’s 5am in London
My block just had a fire alarm
I can’t get back to sleep
I had nothing to do for 3 hours

Fixed wing pilots dont wear helmets, but the helio guys do cuz they know them damn machines run on magic and good intentions.
The helmet got to help with noise even beyond NCH
Oh, I think I've misread the title...
Oh Boomer!!! Howe Street On The Rise!!
why do heli pilots wear helmets and not airplane pilots?
Because airplane crashes are usually quite violent, most helicopter crashes are tail detachments / other damage that disables the craft, but doesn't seriously injure or kill the crew.
@@rickb06 never heard that before
