Jimmy Conners it's called show business. Whatever was your come up, that's how ppl would always remember you. 20-30 years later, if both parties are still somehow relevant and alive, best believe when ppl ask to interview you, updates on your come up is all they really wanna ask about. Unless of course you are a force to be reckoned like Mariah Carey and let the world know to never ask you about Tommy Motola ever again. But ppl like Diane Sawyer, Katie Couric will still try it. Hence why Beyoncé never does interviews anymore, cause she could part the Red Sea but all ppl wanna ask her is about her father and Destiny's Child.

This is my first time seeing her on an interview, and I've always loved her as a singer... And I'm so impressed with her as a woman. I like how she thinks, I like her values, and really appreciate her warmth and honesty. I'm about to tear up thinking about "Before you walk out my life"... Makes me think of a good friend who became a boyfriend who died suddenly in our mid twenties. I always think of him when I hear that song because in our teen years he moved back and forth between NY and Wisconsin where his dad lived, and things were complicated, and this is TMI for a youtube post, but in short, I guess I want to thank her for making such beautiful, amazing songs over the years and growing up to be such a lovely woman who I'm proud to say I still admire.

Brandy and Monica were pitted against each other by the the industry. When they collabed for "the boy is mine" a fake beef was cerated. I remember buying blackbeat magz and other magz where their posters were always back to back, so you had to choose between them. I always thought they were both great... Talented... Strong... Individual... Women!!! Choosing between them was so annoying I'd buy a few copies.
