I like the old fashioned clothes, they’re more old fashioned than the 50-70s. Maybe it’s because this is set before that as well, but also because I think wizard clothes were really old fashioned (unlike the movies). There were few wizards so I don’t think their clothing evolved as much muggle clothes did. Kind of like their parchment and quills.
