Thank you, this was very helpful! I have side opening windows instead of up and down like you do, so I need to check and see if that frame edge is going to get in the way of the blinds because I like an inside mount. Thank you so much, this video answered a lot of questions and gave me some things to check into before I install new blinds!
this helped me so much you have no idea! A few tips for those that are drilling into drywall above their windows: Use a smaller drill bit than you think. Use a screw driver instead of a screw gun. Be gentle when you're pulling the blinds down the window.
The factory screws were of no help to me on my drywall. I got some of my personal 1.25 inch coarse drywall screws and my blinds couldn’t be more sturdier. I also used a 1 5/8th drywall screw as the back anchor screw. a 1 and half would work well too.
TY so much!!! Trying for 3 days to install these LOL.... ONly thing is they kinda hang at the top from the brackets. My casing is not wood... I used those plastic things you put in the wall and tap into a pre drilled hole and then screw in your screw. I might need to pull out the screws and use a bigger plastic thingy. What do you recommend?
I'm getting closer. These are my blinds, not the ones everyone else has that are removed by opening the metal end with a screwdriver. So I'm just looking for how to remove them. I've got new ones that look very similar, so I'm hoping that I'll be able to use the same hardware.
Where did you buy your screw driver is battery and power cord? Or just battery. Which screw size widht I use. I have no clue, I am woman very clumsy with these handman work.
Yo me adelanté!! Compre la persiana de 1.60. Mi ventana es de 1.50, no la puedo instalar como tú muestras en el video!! Como le hago?? Es más ancho la persiana que compre! Como le hago? Tienes algún video??
What if you drill into concrete though? I have the same blinds and I feel like the screw wont go in all the way because I may be hitting concrete or something that my drill can't go through. I've installed 5 out of the 8 windows, all on the second floor of my home, but the 3 windows on the bottom floor wont go in. I'm assuming it's concrete - has anyone had this experience? Any help would be much appreciated. This is super f***ing frustrating.
Wow ...one of the best straight forward step by step videos. Perfect job. Thanks !
Watched til the end. 10/10 would recommend.

Thank goodness for this video!!!!! 🙌
I noticed you have a double hung window and when the shade comes down, it bangs into the bottom one. Shouldn't you use an outside mount?
Thank you, that was easy peasy..
Thanks for the help 👍

No way it’s that easy. No freaking way. I’m gonna try it.

Does anyone know how to remove these blinds without breaking the plastic clips?
They are wrapped as a bundle.. I have them mounted up but how do I unravel so I can pull them down?! 🤔
Mine arent staying up. Any advise?
Thank you, very helpful!
Thank you!!!!

Tienes que comprar una persiana un poco más estrecha que la ventana.
This will take me a decade 😮
It‘s one of those things where when you get done, you realize how easy it was. Have you tried it yet? If not, good luck!
@ChrisMcDowellDIY Thanks I got both up, however one strong wind and I'm in trouble!
Does anybody make a video for taking down the Home Decorations mini Blinds?
I installed my blinds but they won’t come down. What am I doing wrong?
Curious why you didn’t fill in old holes ?
Can‘t see them once the new blinds are up, so I‘m not so concerned. The new blinds will be hanging there for many years.
