Thanks for the time and effort you put into this. Started hiking in my 50's and this is one I will be doing this year along with the Bold Coast Trail in Cutler Maine
Thanks. I did this ridge 5 years straight, 2016-2020, it's that good. Here's a quick guide I wrote up for the trail. www.intotheabsurd.com/the-franconia-ridge-loop It's very tough so prepare well and do plenty of research about it before hand. NH Hike Safe Card highly recommended.
Awesome views brother! We don't have anything like that around here. Those waterfalls in the beginning are beautiful, I imagine the camera really doesn't capture them properly.
Glad you checked it out bro! I've been telling you about this trail for years, haha. 6 hour drive for me too. I make it a 3 day trip. I stay in a hotel because after this hike you need to shower, haha.
Loved Franconia Ridge Loop. So much to see.
Sure is a great loop.
New subscriber my friend. Nice video. Thanks.
The White Mountains are incredible! You capture their beauty well on this video.
Hey thanks a bunch! Glad you checked it out! I'll be watching some more of your tips videos, your footage is great! Cheers!
Never did a real hike before and gonna try this next week. Wish me luck

@@jaytheurbanviking thank you for this. Much appreciated.
I did this loop many years ago. I can remember it was very difficult. I'd love to do it again.
I did it 4 times and look forward to it every year.
WoW, outstanding vid!
Thanks much. Such a great trail.

👍🏽💕❤️
Very nice video. I may be doing this hike this summer. Do you have any advice?
Yes get there early and research the trail before you go. Have fun and be safe.
@@jaytheurbanviking Thank you, I will. I hope to do this soon, it looks beautiful.
You really lucked out on weather.
Was a great day.
Beautiful video. Have you ever done a sunset day hike? What's the time down from the peak summit, 2-3 hours at a fast pace?
Time down from Lafayette's peak is about 2-3 hours, yes. I have never done a sunset hike there and I've done the loop 4 times.
where do you park?
Lafayette Place trailhead parking, not the campground.
