  • I often get questions about how much I spent building the Bronco I have now. Here, I talk about (not in detail) how much I spent on that build as well as go over roughly how much I am going to spend on the next build.
Follow me on this adventure. I can use some inspiration and motivation on this build!

I went with my dad in 1974 in his VW bug to trade the bug and some cash for a 73 Bronco. We went everywhere in the rocky mountains in that thing when I was a kid. It holds so many memories for me. Last week, he gave it to me.❤ I can't wait to start restoring it! I don't care about the money or the value. The sentimental value, to me, is priceless!

100% correct! I love working on my 72 Bronco. Every step in the process is a small accomplishment that’s very rewarding. Aloha my man.

Cost me 14k to restore a 74 Chevy truck. Sold it for 7k in 04.
I found it easier to assume every question about my truck was a curiosity based on them actually being impressed by my work.
Your rig is awesome! Hope to get my Bronco on the road soon. 😅

Thanks! I found working on rigs that the money I spend on the rigs I build to keep I never get back when I sell them. I make a little bit of cash building Jeeps to sell but still I get people throwing me a blue book value. I just move on to the next buyer that understand there will never be a blue book value for lift kits, rims, tires, and mechanical work.
I'm excited for you and your Bronco! Please update whenever you get it running!

Nice job.👍 Tell me about the bench seat .

Hey thanks! It came from a newer Chevy Traverse. It was too high initially so I had to modify the mounts and the custom transmission tunnel I made. It’s pretty comfortable on longer rides. It can also be adjusted back and front. Not sure if you’re seeing my new build vids. I will be using an aftermarket low back seats from rugged ridge. I’ve used those in my CJ7 and scout before and they are really good. Easy to clean.

What did the bench seat in the red bronco come out of? Looks awesome!!!

It's the back seat of a Chevy Traverse. Thanks, love the classic Broncos!

I am in the middle of a build as well and can’t wait to get it finished. Do you mind sharing the size wheel and tire you went with? It looks great!

Nice and good luck to you! I ended up using a 36x14x16.5 TSL Boggers and 16.5x12 inch Welds (5x5.5 bolt pattern) wheels. I’m planning on changing this setup to a 37 inch Toyo MT on 17 inch wheels soon. I like this current setup but it is obsolete.
As far as the current project I have, I will be running the BFG K02 33x12.5x15 on 15x10 steelies. Hope this helps!
