ok but technically the younger guy was willing to go through with the verbal contract, and the older dude is the one who was not, aka who backed out of it after already getting 75% of what they agreed on, but having paid only 0% so clearly, since he is the one to back out of the "4-egg-deal" he has to compensate his business partner. His argument is not very logical. Its the same as putting 4 eggs on his head as originally said, and not paying and saying "life is unfair" all the same. xD
BUT, this is the kind of bullshit a greedy businessman might pull on you, using this highly flawed logic. I suppose that's what the lesson is about really about, talking through the finer points of a business deal and making sure your partner doesn't try to come up with some horseshit loophole.
