Tuomas' ode to Disney. This is the epic from Wishmaster, needs to be heard in its entirety. I don't think they ever played the full version live though.

This is NW which I "fall in love" .... those days they have much more conserts in Finland, so there were possible see them live much more easier than after they got more popularity.... Tarja really got some good live performances in her backpack, Floor is super, but so was Tarja.. Fantamic great song yes, long time since i listened to it last time, even i do often listen to NW, its also a song to bring back memories of the band..
And yes, as all others wrote, this is only second part of Fantamic, the song is much longer..
I love Nightwish with Floor but I was first introduced to the band with Tarja and sometimes I really miss her operatic style within the Nightwish framework. A lot of the reaction channel focus on the Floor-era material but I wish more would give props to songs with Tarja at the helm...after all, that's the roots of this band. Don't get me wrong, I would NOT want the band (or Tarja) to go backwards and reunite permanently, but it would be wonderful if they did an anniversary show in the future with her as a guest. I like Tarja's solo career and I like where Nightwish is now, but the nostalgic side of me would love to see this happen one day. Tarja and Floor are friends, so it isn't outside the realms of possibility. It's just a matter is Tarja and Tuomas can bury the hatchet, co to speak and put the past behind them. Cheers!
for you there are lots of bands to discover then (who still using operatic vocals on heavy music): Epica, Mayan, Xandria, Sirenia, Edenbridge .. even new Fleshgod Apocalypse

@Big Bill O'Reilly She may be happy and so are Nightwish, but it would be nice if they could all play together again for a 1-night thing, an anniversary show, kinda like The Gathering did for their 25th year. Helloween also did this, but it was a whole tour, not just one show. Cheers!

I think this show was from 2000 or 2001. It was a show in Tampere in Finland, and they released it as a live DVD called From Wishes to Eternity and it was the first live music dvd ever made in Finland 😛

This is the best video to show Tarja’s charismatic performance she rocks the whole stage, when did u ever see Tuomas head banging on the stage and so energetic. Plz Tarja’s haters try to find one person that can perform this epice song as Tarja does it , probably no one ever can come 10% close to this. Tarja you made nightwish and you moved on to your self ❤️
actually, she was and is a live wire onstage throughout her entire career
i always forget about the intensity she brings to this song but than i take it for granted that everyone of her performances is agelessly exquisitely, magically, inspiringly, inconceivably, awe-provokingly superb, to say the least
so true...Tarja always delivers with so much energy and flair...

If you are lucky enough to find it, somewhere on youtube, is the end of this song where they don't cut off the part where she momemtarily gazes at the audience as if she is completely exhausted. It's amazing...And why not? She gave 150 percent of herself to sing it so well.
@@ViewThis. ...such as the end of Fantasmic from wishes to eternity...she, certainly always does.. i cant imagine being so dedicated and unperturbed...her typical concert routine usually involved arriving, at least 1 hour ahead, to get psyched up (10 min), warm up her vocal chords (40 min), then relax for 10 more, proceeding to sing with such power, emphasis and energy and afterwards, waiting to sign endless autographs and merchandise, before getting on a smoke filled bus full of drunken band members swearing and carousing, hoping to collapse for a few good hours of REM shuteye..what a Diva, indeed
@@ViewThis. ..even their manager at the time noted how much she gave of herself ... and they treated her so poorly...its just incredible that most people still fall for the lies in that darn letter, thinking of her as a money hungry diva
This was worth watching. Tarja, the queen of her own era ❤ Here was youth and passion for playing ... especially playing Jukka is a pleasure to watch. And Tuomas' air guitar solo ... the highlight of this video.
This is so awesome concert that - Kelly you really have to do it totally.

Hey you watched Beauty & The Beast from the same show before, with Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica. You should totally check them out too. White Pearl - Black Ocean, Victoria's Secret, Don't say a Word, The Power of One and Full Moon are all good starts (I personally like their album versions more than their live versions, due to better mixing of Tony's Vocals ).

I don't want to start any nonsense, but it is interesting to note that Nightwish never put out a live video for the Annete era. Although they did the 'Made in Hong Kong' live CD. I have a multi-cam video of a concert in Sydney from the 'Dark Passion Play' tour that I think was shot by some TV station in Sweden.
That's actually a really good video in that it is all filmed from crowd level, so it really does feel like you're at the show.
There are a few other things from TV broadcasts, like Montreaux 2012 which is excellent quality.

"from home concerts" to keep her legions of fans in good spirits, its all working out well...don't you just love her stage presence?.
This concert and this song is SO RARELY reacted to. It is fun to see them early days, when they don't yet have a thousand gigs behind them. Right, it's about as difficult for Tuomas to jump away from his instrument, as it is for Jukka. Tarja did more headbanging in the early days, but she tells she hurt her neck and often warns people to be careful with it. Not doing it doesn't mean she wouldn't feel the music: one can do other things.
exactly..that head lowering in a dramatic way, she does at the end of this song, not to mention her hand gestures eye movements facial expressions all add so much to the performance

damn.. I just cant stand Tarja's voice... I am grateful that she made the band unique, but.. NW started me when floor came along :)
than why do come here..this is a Tarja reaction..i used to love Floor before Tuomas turned her into a dinner theater singer, but you do not see me going to Floor poppish sounding reactions to tell all her fans how much her voice bores me to tears
