Great video. If we visit Cabo again, we will definitely check out this hotel. We went to the Hyatt Ziva in June but my one critique was that they didn’t have a lot of vegetarian/vegan options, so I was stuck looking for food every night.
It all depends on your preference for restaurants, how much do you eat and drink etc. Too much to consider. I can tell you this much, my wife and I have traveled all over the world, stayed at some of the fanciest hotels in the planet, in Tokyo, Paris, London, Rome, Singapore, Dubai and the list goes on. This hotel by far has some of the most expensive food and drinks anywhere. In 6 nights at Nobu we spent approximately $5600+ in food and drinks. Most of it at this property, we only went to one outside restaurant EL Farallon, where we spent approximately 500+ (it is the most incredible restaurant in Los Cabos) We are definitely foodies, but this was not a whole lot of food. Prices are just a lot different now than when he visited.
Great video Will. It was dope to see the other side of Cabo. For Cabo, I normally stay near the arch since you can get in the water on that side. I’ve never stayed at a Nobu hotel but this review has put it on my list. It was dope to see the Mrs! The way you redeemed was dope. How much money did you end up saving?
Yeah, we were looking at hotels over on the arch side as well. Definitely recommend the Nobu though. We upgraded the wife's Sapphire Pref. card to the Reserve to get that 1.5cpp redemption. That points saved using the reserve instead of Pref and 300 credit pretty much made up for the annual fee difference between the Preferred and Reserve. Haven't crunched numbers yet, but used about $2k in points for the room, food, and drinks.
Yo Will not sure if you really keep up with this video but just curious if you recall how the weather was when you were there ? Been hearing it can get pretty windy and cold around that part of Cabo
Hm not sure I recall it being windy and cold. We were pretty much hanging around the pool most of the time. Only bad weather I remember is rain on our last day.
I honestly don't know if you visited this hotel many many years ago, but those prices you listed for the food are double or triple in some cases. The most expensive food in any hotel anywhere.
Great pictures/video.
Great vid Will! The Ritz is expensive too, good to have Ritz Carlton card and can spoil u at some hotels.
Awesome and thorough review. Thank you. I’m supposed to be going to Cabo in November. Fingers crossed it doesn’t get canceled
I absolutely loved my time in Cabo San Lucas and in general most hotels looked great. Nevertheless great information!
Great video Will!
Thanks!

Yeah they were great. Hard Rock, right next door, is also fairly vegan friendly. But we liked Nobu muhc better
Outstanding family! My lady is the same way with the lack of lighting and mirrors in the bathroom...
how much do you think I need to budget for food and drinks? planning to go for 5 days
