    This is a great setup buddy. You have given some other ideas now 🤔. Love to see someone that understands the value of having multiple scan tools and knowing how one company or tool can’t do everything. You have definitely invested into yourself and made some great investments. Great video buddy and just now realized I wasn’t subbed. That was obviously my bad.

      Cody’s Auto Diagnostics thanks man. Yeah def you need to keep the holes filled otherwise you have to give up work I’m not about that lol I love the scanners I have it took me a while of trial and error before I found the right ones. I want to get that Matco 3.0 like yours that thing is nice it’s like my launch torque. I def need to add a boom for my cables to free up a draw lol

    • @codysautodiagnosticsprogra8706
      @codysautodiagnosticsprogra8706 5 років тому

      Welding Junkie Honestly bro since you have the launch torque I don’t know how much more of the Matco unit will have compared to that scan tool. My Diagon does everything that the Matco does just not as fast. I heard that torque is really fast?

    • @billmck12345
      @billmck12345 5 років тому +1

      the torque is fast cody.....I always hear peps asking which one to get... i'v owned the scanpad101, macto macimus 2a(scanpad 2) the x431pro3 and the launch torque is the best out of that bunch...as you know I work on everything you find in a shopping mall on the holidays....

    Looking good man, it's hard to find out what will be your best setup until you start using her heavily on the day-to-day, but you'll find out what you want once you put her on the front line man!
    Great tools and looking forward to seeing your finished product!

    If you have time, can you please make a detailled video where you compare the scanners and show what they can and can not
    And how could we flash/program/code the controls units of all marks... If there is probably one tool for all this

    I am here because i thought we were going to PLAY with your toys, not so you can rub my nose in the empty spot in my work center where the pico scope goes. I am curious about the Autel scope. But jealousy aside, awesome setup. I did notice that as far as leads, and connectors, AND the shrink/solder connectors, we are on the same page. I took a set of 3 wire 30' roll cables, the ones that look like a flat frisbee that roll up in the housing, and i cut the crappy alligators off and installed stackable 4mm shielded bananas on them. For low voltage signals and under car, or driving tests, they are awesome. Just a thought. Best part is, the have a magnet in them so you can store them on the side of the box, or stick them on the door (with a napkin in between) assuming the car is even made of metal.

    I believe you still need the Autel 12 + 8 adapter on new Chrysler’s with the secure gateway module. You don’t need it to read codes or look at data but without it you can’t clear codes or use any bidirectional controls.

      Jon Simmons thr Autel? Yes it’s a very good scope actually. It’s no pico and that sucks man awful that people do that stuff. The Autel will work good for you. You can also look at the ETER scope from Ditex it’s also an affordable viable option. Biggie and leggit did some videos on it. If you need anything let me know
