WRONG TITLE OF THE WRONG PERSON. THE VIDEO IS OF LAMONT FROM SANFORD AND SON, THE TITLE SAYS LIONEL WHICH IS FROM THE JEFFERSONS. DO ALL BLACK PEOPLE LOOK THE SAME TO YOU?
The 70s show's were the best show's in their time's. You couldn't get the same response from people today like you would from people back when they were shooting Archie, ALL in the family, Sanford and Son, the Beverly Hillbillies, the Jefferson's and Good time's. Those show's would never make it on today's tv programs. People won't to see violence and nudity and profane language. Killing is the violence people we want to see and the car's flying down the road trying to escape the police officers and getting away, that's today's hero's. Even in some of the western movies that were pretty good but not enough killing and they want to see blood flying around and people's head's getting blown off. I'm just happy i was born in the early 60s and grew up in the late 60s and all of the 70s throughout highschool . By the time i was in 9th grade we finally got cable TV and i remember sitting up all night watching MTV and ESPN damn near every single night during the summer months. HBO had some good movies that hadn't been long been released for the box offices to Paid cable TV. I didn't watch TV hardly never and usually it was in the morning's while i was waking up and listening to MTV Rock and Roll back then. First time i saw a Band that id been to see on TV doing these videos and i thought that was pretty cool.

Redd Foxx walked off the show in 1974 over a salary dispute, and was written out for the rest of the season. Redd returned the next year, He and Demond worked together until 1977 when Redd quit for good, WITHOUT TELLING DEMOND. In his book Demond said. “I had no animosity toward Foxx (for quitting the show in 1977) because I had a million-dollar contract at CBS to do Baby... I'm Back!. My hurt was that he didn't come to me about throwing the towel in. I found out in the hallway at NBC from a newscaster. I forgave him and I loved Redd, but I never forgot that. The love was there. You can watch any episode and see that.”

I am a huge fan of Sanford and Son, especially when it comes to Fred Sanford and Aunt Esther always at each others throat. Redd Foxx had a twin brother or maybe just a brother name Fred on the TV show he called himself Fred after his brother who died long time ago before he made Sanford and Son.
