- We have done some insane challenges over the years and I can honestly say that I don't think any of them come close to this! We are stoked to have the @moxiskates Team in the house and their 16 Year old shredder Mia is here to set the Braillehouse World Record for highest front flip on skates! How many boards do you think Mia will be able to front flip over? Leave your guess in the comments below!

She cleared that final stack by at least 2 boards! But it's such a mental challenge going higher. Plus getting gassed from doing it so many times in a row (and landing like a pile of noodles that one time). I can't imagine sending that kind of height.
I'm calling she could have done 18 boards, but it's one, a mental barrier for sure, and two, she would juuuuuuust make it.
We have the technology that it's even possible to just place digital boards there and even in real time. Reducing risk of injury. But I am also sure someone can just measure it as well to know how high of a stack she could clear as well.
Yeah, she can clearly do more but the issue with getting an accurate measure of your limits is that it by definition requires failing. You go until you hit something just over what you've cleared and there's your limit. Can't imagine wanting to slam into a wall of boards while flying upside down just to figure that number out, so it definitely made sense to call it there.
I know it's a skatepark but I think it would be cool if they used high jump stands/pole for tricks like that, it's a lot less intimidating and a lot less risky than jumping over stacked decks.
She had 2 more for sure! Next time she should start at 10 and see if she can get 17 😀🙌

That was insane! Its so interesting to see how a flip works, even though I cant do them myself, It always just looks magical.
It's a cartwheel essentially.
A Barani flip is a front flip+180 (she does this perfectly, and I've never seen anyone do better). A misty flip is more like a sideways flip, where you land fakie. Almost more of an inverted 540 (check Montre Livingston misty flip). There is a difference. I'm becoming a big fan of these girls.... Especially, Estro-Jen, but she knows 😊.

I've been looking to buy a Penny board but the only brand available here is Kerb (I think it's a South African brand), and buying online isn't really an option since most places don't ship to here. I can't find any reviews online of it, I'm a little hesitant, but do you think it would at all be possible for you guys to make a review on it? I don't know if they ship to Murica but if they do it would be cool to see you guys shredding on it and giving your honest opinion!

It's called a Barani. It's named after an Italian circus acrobat Alfonso Barani. It has been most popularly adopted by the gymnastics world.

I used to call that a misty flip. But name isn’t important. What an amazing trick over 15 boards! Mia killed it! 👊👍
Technically, both are front flips + 180, but they are done a bit differently. Rollerbladers consider those different tricks. If you look at her, she does a perfect front flip, and then twists it to land fakie. That is a Barani.... So a misty is more of a big sweeping sideways flip. You start off facing forward, jump and flip sideways, and land backwards (fakie). Montre Livingston does a textbook example of a big sideways misty. (Montre is a rollerblader who's been on this channel, so it's easy to look up how his misty is different than her Barani).
@@Danielson1818 True I never knew the difference, I always called a frontflip 180 a Misty Flip. So Misty is more like a roll mid air than an upside down flip then.
