@@AleksWatches Hi Aleks, You may recall I collect rare GP watches and I run the GP Fanclub FB group. Anyway, Have you heard of the GP ref 80188? Google it. It's quartz and both dial and movement was made for this one time only by GP for the SIHH 2010 as a novelty. Extremely rare to come by. I am keen to hear your thoughts. Thanks. Marc
Another left-field wonder, Aleks! Real watch folk choose interesting over hype. I'm not really an FPJ guy but I like this one even if like you and for the same reason I find it a bit over-sized. And the going price, not for me. At original list I would have the same reservations but it would have me thinking too...and then choosing maybe Glashutte Original :)
This watch may look ok on pictures, videos etc. but when you wear it…. Wow! Then you understand the hype and will probably drool a little…. In the flesh this watch is a thing of beauty. The price is too high but then so is a piece of art… sometimes you just have to have it.
You did not mention the fact that it can be tuned to counter the drift that effects crystals over time. There is thermal compensation also. This should be accurate to 1 second a month. These are very very special watches. Just a shame that they are treated like "investments" by certain people. They are also serviced by real watchmakers having their Jewels lubricated etc at f. P. J.
How do you like this piece?
One of the most beautiful contemporary watches imo
I absolutely love this watch.
The watch snobs’ nightmare
The movement is incredible and I love the thinness of quartz in general. A lot of modern mechanical watches are so thick and bulky.
Hear hear

It’s ridiculous how thick watches have gotten recently
Absolutely love this! Keep up the great work my friend!
Cheers!
Love the design, materials and tech. The 48 ltol looks fine on your wrist.
Stunning design with interesting technology. Probably theres no chance for me getting it, but its still my dream watch!
Very Very Very Nice
I’m trying to visit the Thailand boutique soon and see if I can put my name on for the black dial

❤❤❤❤❤❤
What is this piece retail price?
Love it
Wow
Is the battery replaceable at FP Journe service centre at end of its shelf life (18 years on standby mode or 8 years if wear daily)?
I sure hope so :)

Clever watch but a ridiculous price, high end or not.
I rather quartz watches too because cant afford automatic or hand wind so have no choice other than quartz😂ofcourse not this one for clear reason😅
