Hahaha, I totally agree. It's one of the most ridiculous statements I've ever made but I still freaking love it and look forward to using it twice a day.
I have been using Oral B for long time now and they have taught me to brush at least twice a day for 2 minutes each not including 30 seconds tongue brushing and 30 roof on my mouth. At first seemed like a long time but now goes quick and feels very refreshing. Had a Pro 6000 and just got the IO 6 Series. So far like my 6000 better but once get used to the IO I am sure will like it. Thanks for the vid.
Oh man that's awesome how it taught you good oral hygiene. It's important. Glad it doesn't seem like a slog anymore. At times I still can't believe how long 3 minutes is. lol I appreciate you taking the time to check out the video and giving the IO6 series a shot. Hopefully, it ends up being a good buy that you enjoy. If not I hope you can return it and find something you do like!
I mean if you have a standard American diet then yeah I would recommend brushing at least two minutes a day but if you eat a healthy diet with no sugar you can get away with not brushing at all. I’ve only brushed my teeth about 15 times the past three years and I have the best teeth I’ve ever seen with zero cavities perfectly white perfectly straight. I think brushing your teeth for more than one minute a day leads to premature enamel loss and sure it will keep your teeth white and feel like fresh but once you reach the age of 40 to 45 + you’ll start getting that gray dark color to your teeth. I know plenty of people in their 40s and 50s that brush to times a day their whole life and they have dark discolored gray and black teeth. Once you get rid of the enamel on your teeth it’ll never come back and they become susceptible to staining. Edit: don’t get me wrong, I recommend flossing/brushing tongue, but brushing seems unnecessary if you have a very healthy diet of salads/nuts/Whole Foods. For example there is nothing unhealthy or detrimental to your teeth that you would find in a salad or eating a handful of nuts, studies show that they actually clean your mouth especially greens. I would call these nature’s toothbrushes. Go look into how perfect the teeth are of ancient tribes members who have never even heard of a toothbrush.
Achieve 100% coverage in all your brushing sessions for 5 consecutive days. AKA if you brush 2x daily you need to have 100% coverage for 5 days in a row. Or another way of putting it you need 10 brushings (over 5 days) to be 100% coverage.
Goldilocks. First time seeing your videos and appreciate the thorough review. I've been using an Oral-B Smart Series 5000 for about a year and a half (well really a year) and once I started consistently brushing it has really improved things for me. Currently have a deal for the series 8 twin pack for $399 and was considering getting it for my partner and myself, but the extra benefits for the Series 9 is making me just want to buy those instead. The travel case is nice and I used the tonge cleaning on my current every day.
I don't think you can go wrong with either one. I still LOVE my Series 8. But still think the best one to get (depending on how much extra you are spending) would be the Series 9. But I am excited for you as I think you'll love it no matter which one you choose.

Hello sir great video , Just got the product, everything's great but i can't power off this manually, can we power off the brush manually ? Because whenever I'm pressing the power button its keep going in to brushing mode. Please reply thank you
I'm perplexed. Yes, you should be able to turn it off manually. I think it is coming down to user error. There are two buttons on the device "Power" and "Mode". The top button should be the "Power" button where if the device is Off it should power ON and if it is On it should power OFF. Then the button below that should be the "Mode" button that cycle through the different modes. If you are cycling through different modes then the power button switches to confirm those changes. So, I think what is happening is you are powering on the device with the power button but then when you go to turn it off I think you are accidently pressing the mode button which then makes the power button not turn off the device. So, I'd just make sure you pressing the right button before turning it off until you get used to the position. Did that fix your issue? Or is there some kind of firmware issue where your power button is defective?

I usually on charge it once weekly and it is not anywhere near the end of the battery. Additionally, I usually brush for about 2 - 3 minutes. With me not being right at 2 minutes every time that may be why the battery life is a bit less.

Appreciate the info Isaac!
I had no plans of watching this 12 min video, I was just curious about the toothbrush. But Galahad had no pause in his dialog so I had no time to think should I stop.
I must say, I kind of want to take the leap over to electric brush now.
Hahaha I love this comment. And quite honestly, it's pretty awesome. I never thought I'd get excited about a freaking toothbrush. But I still love it and the clean I get from it is still great.
Can’t believe that I actually watched this..
And I can't believe I made a video on it. But I do appreciate you checking it out. Hopefully you enjoyed it.
Amen

No lights or any features to show u wen is charged or fully charged 😒
I did a bad job. Yes, it has a feature where when it is charging the LED at the top of the brush will blink, when fully charged it will be green. When you pick up or move the device it will show you the battery level.
Cool but does it run Doom?
I hope that guy that hacked a pregnancy tester tries to get Doom to run on this thing.
Lmao, was that Basically Homeless? Because that sounds like something he would do.
I'm not sure if it could. Probably couldn't. But is seriously one of my favorite possessions. If I had a house fire I'd grab it before evacuating. lol
@@ThomasMuehler I'm not sure who it was but I saw it on Unbox Therapy channel.
get the Oral B iO Series 7
Great choice.
0:59 you're so funny
Oral b next two year will be cost same as iPhone 😅
Nothing in God's green earth can describe how confused I am.
You and me both.

Thank you very much! Next Step: Smarttoilet
Dude, don't tempt me. That would be awesome and see major potential there. The closest I know of is Bidet. Which I want but am far to cheap and lazy to go get. Doesn't mean I don't want though. Small quality of life upgrades. lol
nice
Still can't believe these things exist.
