-Why am I always so late for your videos?- Anyway Eggman's stage is..........interesting. He plays pretty straightforward and therfore it's not really easy to make "gimmick" for him (Except for the shooting section but I'll get to that in a minute) Since his running moveset is pretty straightforward, the stage for him is pretty much as well. I have to say that it looks kinda weird how big he is in comparison to everyone and how his arms faze through the ceiling but I think most already noticed that much. The section where the light turn off is good but in a sense that one has to work with a pretty basic moveset. I might say that it's also kinda unfair for people who can't see all that well (But we can't appeal to every demographic. It's alright). But in terms of narrative and tension it's a pretty solid move to make everything go dark. It's also kinda weird how Eggman narrated the whole Crimson Ring story but it's kinda hard to pull off proper plot while also keeping the flow of the game, so it's forgiveable. The bossfight with Neo Metal Sonic is also great. He controls differently than the other characters and his "Z-Saber"(Orginial weapon, do not steal) his gameplay could be super unique and- Oh no. He's dead. I gotta admit, I was a bit disappointed when Metal Sonic......"died" but I also have to say..........."HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME ATTACHED TO A ROBOT IN A FEW SECONDS AND KILL HIM OFF SECONDS LATER?!" But really now. The way Neo Metal Sonic was introduced made him a pretty likeable character and sadly he had to go pretty quickly. He tried his best to save Eggman and with his last batteries (and still attached wires) he managed to buy Eggman enough time to save himself. Truly a tragic character in this story. His bossfight was good but his Saber had little to no use since simply jumping on Executor was kind more effective. The last section with Eggman was actually pretty cool. It was very Touhou and the fight used up a lot of the screen so it feels engaging. It might've had more impact if Executor would've had a second phase but that's more to program and that fighting pattern alone was already pretty good. The best bossfight so far in this game in my opinion. Generally I like this chapter but I feel like the others had a bit more impact for me. That could've been a result of the original Sonic.exe game though since Eggman had already very little to do in this game and very little context was given for him. This game tried it's best to spice up the story with being a little based on the original but I think it could've done more after it's great previous chapters. Still a pretty good chapter however
