Congrats on a successful first Artist Alley! Your art is so cute!!! I was actually out there in artist alley too but I don't remember if I got a chance to make it over your way because I was pure chaos that weekend lol. Best wishes on your future artist alleys and looking forward to more videos. :)
OMG! Thank you so much! It really was! That's awesome that you were there also!! I hope we run into eachother at future cons!
Thanks for sharing this! I was wondering if you took care of the transaction fees for card payments or did you add that fee to the buyer whenever someone makes a purchase? I'm hoping to do table at an artist alley and I've always wondered that. :)
Hi! Thanks for asking! Great question. So personally, I bear the cost of the fees, but I put that into consideration when I price my products as well. Every card transaction is going to require a fee no matter if you sell online or in person. I would say a majority of my sales from conventions is card. But I have also seen people upcharge for credit card transactions at the conventions. If you don't want the hassle of asking every paying customer if they mind paying additional for the transaction, then I would just keep in mind the fees when pricing my products. I hope that helped!
@@mollievstudio You are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing that. I was thinking of going that way too. Base on my experience of shopping at artist alleys, I rarely get asked about paying extra for transaction fees. Wishing you the best on your business!!
@colorsandkimmi of course! Glad to help! And thank you!! Wishing you success at your conventions as well! 😊 I hope we can run into eachother at future cons ♡
@@mollievstudio thank you and that would be awesome! Hoping to say hi to you at a con someday if you ever in socal. Attending holiday matsuri is on my bucket list to visit. It looks so fun!
@@colorsandkimmi omg! I would love to go back to socal 😊 I'm originally from there 😁 and Yes Holmat is pretty insane 🤣
