You just saved me hours more of hunting for the Santa hat I "thought" I wanted to do. I don't know why I didn't come to you first since everything you do is always so easy to understand. I really hope this goes farther than just saving my mind, but that it blesses me to bless others. I'm running out of money to bless others, so doing this for a craft fair to help a young lady in a bad situation. Prayers will be more into these hats than yarn will be. Thank you so much for always showing us the clear way to make things. You are awesome!!
From California , Hi Yolanda I made the hat watching your video. My grand daughter is loving it. I sat here watching on a Sunday really enjoyed it. Now all I need to do is the pom pom so....happy. Next will be for my grandson. Loved it. Love your videos. I love the fact that your there step by step showing your work. Thank you so.....much. One happy camper. lol
Saludos Yolanda. Soy de Humacao Puerto Rico. Me gusta mucho este trabajo. Ideal para estas fiesta y tener un gorro distinto. Gracias por tu dedicación y tu tiempo. Dios la bendiga mucho.
Thank you so much for taking time to teach us this pattern and how to read the instructions! I started out pretty slow and confused to being able to read the instructions and speeding through from rounds 12 to the end! You are such a great teacher!! Thank you! 🧶🪢🪡
Yolanda I just want to take a minute to tell you how fantastic you are! I cannot imagine leanring another language and teaching people how to chrochet. and you are so gosh darn good at it! thank you for all that you do! oh I found the white sparkly yarn at wallmart.
Yolanda, this was exactly what I needed! Being able to see the stitches up close and the abbreviates on the directions explained was perfect. I am excited about going back to some projects I had abandoned because I couldn't understand the directions. Thanks for the excellent video and sharing your expertise with a newbie.
Dear Yolanda I have been following your tutorials since I started crochet, you are a wonderful teacher and I really appreciate your videos karen in Australia
Love this!!! You are the best instructor!! I have made this with a white with a shine in it from Walmart and red then I am making one in the black with shine in it and a berry red.....so cute for a little different take on it (black and red) They look amazing...you are terrific!! Thank you so much!!!
That's a festive Santa Hat. I have to make one for my daughter! Thank you so much for doing this tutorial. Great idea about using the yarn markers to divide the sections. I always struggled with that....thank you for sharing!!!

I love all of the items that you showing us, you are a excellent teacher, I had crochet quite a few things that you display👍 and I am loving it, Yolanda I want to thank you very much👍Grasias 😃
This Santa hat is so cute. I'm gonna try to see if I can make it so I can wear my ponytail through it. I'm always wearing my hair up. I will have to figure out something. Update: This morning 12/27/21, I decided to measure out 2 inches from the starting point to make my ponytail hole so I can pull my ponytail through it. It'll work when I chain 11 on the 2 inch mark then I will come back around and do double crochets around the chain and keep going with the double crochets like you are showing in the video. I'm doing a team colored Santa hat in royal blue and white.
You skipped stitches while crocheting the 60 stitches. Why didn't you decrease a couple of stitches per 20 instead? Won't skipping cause a hole? Love your video's, I figure this rib stitch can be used for any hat. Going to try tonight with a baby hat. Thanks
hi yolanda i am from juarez chih, mex and i love youre tutorials i have only one grand dauther so i love everything you make for todllers cause she is only 2 years old hope you see my coment
hello, Yolanda I have been watching your channel for a while and would like to say I have learned a lot. my mother taught me how to crochet when I was 7 years old and I have been working on different things all my life, like blankets, hats, house shoes and scarfs but; I didn't know what the stiches were called until now and I just want to say thank you for all your tutorials
Hi Yolanda. Thanks so much for this great video. I love to wear a Santa Hat for the Holidays. The ones you buy at the store never fit right and flop around and slide. You are a great teacher. Happy Holidays.

Good morning Yolanda I wanted to ask you if you the 18inch that's go for adult right because I have a lady in her biging 30th that would like to buy a Santa hat but for her 2 girls, husband and her do I go higher inch for a man & low for kids thanks again for your help it always works out
I'm doing a similar hat but for a baby. It's also a free red heart pattern. It's done with sc. The instructions say that the first chain of a round does not count as a separate stitch? Do they mean that I count that chain as a sc or no? Don't know why they state that way ? Thank you
Hello, I have a question, when you chain and then crochet all the way up is there a way to make that initial (bottom) line more stretchie? Mine at the bottom becomes too tight : (

Hola Yolanda : )
Just found your tutorial after 9 years! ❤️never late.
Great instructions 😀..
Gracias! Blessings 🙏🏽
AWESOME tip using the stitch markers to evenly place the 60 stitches, Thank you so much, I'll be using that tip often in many projects.
Yes, I think it really helps to get stitches in more evenly
I would have divided it into sections of ten instead of twenty. Even easier to stay on track!
First timer watching your videos and I love how you explain those little tips that are not normally explained. Thanks!

Hi i'm rose how to make this pattern for kids? Thank you!!! I like everything you do!!!
Good morning Yolanda I wanted to ask you if you the 18inch that's go for adult right because I have a lady in her biging 30th that would like to buy a Santa hat but for her 2 girls, husband and her do I go higher inch for a man & low for kids thanks again for your help it always works out
Can this be made smaller?
I'm doing a similar hat but for a baby. It's also a free red heart pattern. It's done with sc. The instructions say that the first chain of a round does not count as a separate stitch? Do they mean that I count that chain as a sc or no? Don't know why they state that way ? Thank you
You could easily turn this into an elf hat by using green instead of white and using a smaller pom pom or not at all!
Hi Yolanda, how do you wash these hats ?
Hello, I have a question, when you chain and then crochet all the way up is there a way to make that initial (bottom) line more stretchie? Mine at the bottom becomes too tight : (
It's so beatiful! Thqnks forrvideos
Hola, por favor podrias hacer este video en español????...Gracias.
