Going to put my tech head on here. I have experience with lipo batteries from rc cars and planes. The batteries used in these usually have whats called a balance lead as well as the main plug. You need a special charger to use this but what it does is monitor each cell in the battery pack and charges each cell to the same voltage. You can also see the health of each cell this way. If you are not going to use the pack for a long time you can also charge it to a storage state.
I wonder if Altech could add a balance lead by request.
Yes I'm aware 😀, also brought up with RC cars, planes and Helicopters 😀 I'll ask ALTechnologies and give you a response. I do know in over 2 years he's never had an ND2 battery back or go faulty.

Yes, I can add a balance lead by request. But each ALT battery has a built-in BMS circuit that not only comes with protections like overcharge overdischarge overvoltage and short-circuit, but also has balance function. A RC battery has only cells + power leads and balance leads, no protections what so ever, you can damage it in just one over discharge mistake.
This is a great review. Was in two minds about the boat but this has confirmed my decision to purchase next pay day.

Hi has it a low battery warning light....great review Jason.
You get low level battery warning light on the handheld remote. Can also see voltages on the app

Brill vlog mate looking at getting one of theses myself the trim you was on about in your vlog very informative but a question dose the toe of the water or wind chop affect all of this on different days or venue s but it was your vlog that made me make my mind up between ND2 and ridge monkey hunter 750 is the ridge monkey had gps facility then I thing I’d gone that way but it won’t for a long time to come keep up the good work ND should sponsor you
The water chop.doesnt result effect it, but a powerful aviator does.
