Clearing the trees from and old abandoned road and cleaning up the ditches.
Crazy how small the 220 looks next to the 350. That machine is a beast.
The 220 looks like a toy😂
Tbh idk why but I always though the 330 looked bigger
When I think of how wet that place was when you started, I cannot imagine what it would look like now if not for you and your magic dirt abilities. My God, what a gorgeous piece of land it is. As usual, your transformations are artwork. It may have been 'just' burning and dozing, but watching you improve step by step is inspiring. And downright fun. Thanks, Chris, for bringing us along for the ride.
Surprized how well the brush and ground had dried out so soon after the hurricane. Brush pile burnt down great too. Good to see water in the drain where it should be running.
I’m glad you got rid of a lot of that brush so you can clean up those roads. As you said, it looks so nice when you tidy it up…it should also keep those roads less wet without all those pockets to catch and hold water
Crazy, Chris always says he is going to start an small fire and it always turns into a fire to single mars. 🙂 Thank you and have a great week.
This project is moving forward. Good progress so far to get to this point. Still remember what this looked like when you first drained it!!
It's not good with the weather ☁️ chris it's bank holiday week end here in the south east UK raining 18 hours now lucky for farming community getting harvest in all most but making building site a mess ..Glad you're back on this site and get things moving again
Shame no help with driving the excavator Chris or maybe late in week big thumbs up 👍😎
I keep all the ashes for compost. It's excellent and makes the dirt black that it's mixed in. Love the stuff. All kinds of minerals in it that plants need
Fires burning good. Road bed clean and neat. Just like Chris likes it. Have a great week.
Glad you can get going again on this project, you have been fighting the elements on this one.. love a big fire, looking forward to a new pond.
Hi Chris, it's lovely to see that you can get back working after the hurricane and getting this burnt up .thanks very much for the video. Thanks Stephen
You do such great work. You make it look so easy.
When you have the camera on the machine, it feels like I'm the one running it on my 75 inch TV lol
I laughed when you said you’re gonna hang out with the fire- you and I know it’s absolutely one of your favorite things
It's amazing just how fast nature
Will take back what you have clean up
But if you leave it alone for bit of time
Nature says ok my turn
Well, At least you can even get in there after 2ft. of rain, and get something done !! You would think, it would still be pretty bad only after 3 days but, looks like ya got a lot done there Man !! Really good deal you got most of the brush gone too !! Great as Always Chris, Have a Great Evening, And, On too the Next !!
Always looks really good. Cleaning in itself helps the curb appeal immensely, nice break having to burn all day like that. Turning another piece of property into a jewel, thanks for the update, always fun to watch clean ups, enjoyed.
Nice Thank you for sharing your have more project
Getting back to the New Bern job. You are making the roads look good, the deer that start coming thru in the next few months will be happy.
Chris some work done on the road and it looks great nice and clean
Love the video. You sure make running all that equipment look sooo easy!
Love the video Chris on this site .
Hi Chris ... my two favorite You Tube channels are yours and Cutting Edge Engineering ... then Matt's Off Roads Recovery and Dirt Perfect. Your work is always so neat - I marveled at the precision of the trench you dug for your power cable .... and that you never push debris into the edge of the bush ...
Was wondering if you would give us an update on your equipment ... like ... where is the Hyundai excavator - did it sell? Where is the 977 track loader. What piece if equipment would you really like to own but don't .... grader? What equipment in on the agenda for upgrade/replacement. Update on your Uncle ... he seems to be the guy who gave you a dam good start to where you are now ... see him delivering gravel sometimes.
Disposing of brush depends on what the customer wants. He has pushed some piles into the woods when the customer wanted a backstop for a shooting range. Some places allow burning and some places require haul out.
Chris has comes a long ways sense I first started watching him, his fleet of heavey equipment has grown.
Yep just tidying up into piles makes a big difference bro. . Safe travels. Ken.
I think that pond is going to look good in that area .
Great message. Your work and projects have been such a joy to watch. Keep up the amazing work and ministry.
as a ranger with the NC forest service and a former fire dozer operator I appreciate you being careful with your fires, you do good work
I feel productive just watching Chris work.
Heh.. i feel kinda lazy sitting here in my computer chair watching... Its all good though
I laugh every time you say "I'm going to start a little fire"...LOL
Remember once he dug a pit then filled it with brush then went up as high as he could pile it that was some fire
@@denismcardle9568 LOL Yep
Having a road grader for the ditches and cleanup would have been handy.
That road cleaned up pretty nice, that big burn pile sure shrunk down, it`s looking real good.
Looks like we'll only have one more episode on this job site to enjoy watching Chris improve that property.
Then on to the next one.
2 feet of rain, Now that's impressive. We go into flooding with 2 or 5 inches! We have mountains so all that rain runs down hill! Rivers and streams go over the banks! Washing out roads and homes towns!
In S. Florida, that can fall in one day at times. Two days later, you'd never know it in most cases. But we could use some of that rain here in SE Ohio. I went out to the farm today and there was only a little water running thru a culvert pipe where normally we have water in the two box culvert sections of the same crossing.
I am surprised that the trees around the burn pile did not get scorched. Very good video.
Chris your little fires become very large the rain is really getting in your way great video thanks Chris
Looking nice Chris
If the owner wants to do a little work, put a black tarp over the pile, long tall skinny rows or row, when it is hot,it is way faster composition
Dump it in the swampy shaded hole fast decomp
Totally amazed by the power and control here! 😮
Congratulations Chris on all your accomplishment!!
2 ft. Of rain is a whole year for us!
Great job 👍🏻 love how you said push the oh crap button 😅
Nice video Chris.
Boa tarde meu amigo like confirmado Tmj abraço
Love those burn days🔥🔥🔥🪵🪵🔥🔥🪵🪵
Yess, they made a mess, and made a good job for you, because you are the man to fix it!
All the rain before the storm, during the storm then again after the storm. There's still standing water in our yard. It's hard to get it to drain. You folks up there had the tornadoes as well. At least it cooled down for a week or so. The hot weather is coming back though. More skeeters coming with it.
Good job mate its a bit wet there I didn’t get any where near the rain as you got but it’s still a bit wet in places at my place keep up the good work love watching your videos
Hard to work in those wet conditions, but you have to try.
As always love the work you do. You do it with care, and planning in your head, that most of us could not cope with! Just love watching you attend to you fires, you are a true Fire Marshall. you know what you want and direct the fire to do what you want, SUPERB VIEWING. Thanks from UK.
man that 350 is so much bigger!
Mosquitoes must be insane
Going to be bumper mosquito hunting season. Likely be some new state records.
good video
Tom Hanks said "I make fire " !
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO CHRIS ❤😊
Chris I Want A T Shirt Of ALL the Machine together.................
Sure know how to make it look clean. The “ touch”😊😊😊😊
Some don’t understand that how hard it is to grade a road or really anything with a dozer. I was told one time hey Dan you don’t have to put all those nice ripples in it just make it flat. I finally got it. 😂
“Burn Burn Ponmanic” just saying
Chris you should show the pond you used the giant hyundai dump truck. Like to see if full an the island.
😂 I guess your idea and mine on a “small” fire are significantly different. 😮
Chris man I have made a lot of progress on my house gradeing by hand but looks bad ass thinx to ur job in the pass
Wow! Are you putting a center turn lane on that road you are putting in? Good work.
When you stack those ashes and brush up, in 5 years …. What gr8 top soil that will be … although he will need to agitate ❤
Getting close to fire season. Burn baby burn. I think Fall is going to come early this year over here on the western side of NC.
G'day mate just wondering with all the rain you have had if you have checked that big waterhole you did with the island in the middle, been a dry winter down here in Tasmania I enjoy the work cheers buddy
I remember when you brought the new thumb that you’re using on the 220 Chris.
Are you ever tempted to fit a skewer on the bucket and cook kebabs on the fires?
We are getting rain every day down here in South Florida.
Best fire smotherer on YT
Improvements. That's what Chris does. And alot of them.
LetsDig18!😊
I ran a 580 D Case that would push that Komatsu into a swamp. Respectfully, you need to replace that Komatsu with something that has some push !
He likes the Komatsu for fine grading. The D6 and D7 will move anything else.
🧂🧂another great video Mr Gaines, I like to hear you thinking out loud. I think with your adaptive game plans you would be a great chess player, keep the videos coming.
you can grade with a big dozer if you adjust your blade pitch back - do you know how to do that? Don't make me come down there - I might end up staying a while and run that new 350.
Any chance for a Sunday hour long video I’m stuck in the hospital. There’s nothing good to watch. Just asking. Chris.
👍✌
Beautiful project.
🤗❤️👍
👏👏
When Chris said he was going to have just a little fure I asked myself does Chris even know what a small fure is

If your careless could your bucket hit your front window on your excavator
THANKS!
Welcome !
You need an oxygenator to😊 feed your burn piles. If you make it yourself. You could make millions?
