Good on you, Luke and all the best with your new venture. I’ve been following your channel for some years and enjoyed every video. It’s great to hear you are going to dedicate more time to You Tube.
I've always loved your videos. You have clearly found true love in your life which has helped to ignite your passions and dreams. Go for it. Life is for living and no one gets anywhere without taking risks. You have always produced quality, helpful and very watchable videos. All the best.
Hello Luke, Massive respect to you. I admire your courage and drive. All the very best to you, in your new endeavours and I am sure you will 100% succeed. Take it easy, Buddy.👍 All the best, John.
Best thing I ever did was quit being an employee and start working for myself. No excuses, all my success and failures are my own. Work hard and you won't regret a moment.
Went through a career change recently of my own making, was hard to let go of the past at 1st but eventually i adappted, it was that very process of adapting that i learned a lot. All the Best in your change mate 👍
Ive been working at Ford Motor Company for 31 years. Never thought i would of been here that long. Hope it all works out for you. All the best for the future 👍🏾
Luke based on what you have shared you have also been through a lot physically and emotionally over the last 3-5 years which is a testament to you as a human. My advice, regardless of what you do to make a living, is do things you enjoy, make content if it makes sense to you, then others will follow it. All the best.
Hi luke go for it mate time flies by I have been retired from ford's two years next month and am loving every minute good luck for the future and I will be looking out for your videos its Billy off the mt82 rear case .
Ford haven’t been at Halewood for a long time it’s JLR at that site unless there is still a legacy of when Ford owned JLR before TATA bought the company
I worked within quality for the transmission plant, part of the job involved tearing down and investigating defective transmissions and then installing them into vehicles and then test driving them.
@@TorqueSteer I stand corrected. All the branding just appears to be JLR. You can still see the first car in the museum to roll off the production line. Before the site and “route 7” there used to be a medieval house and moat now under the transmission site.
If your heart says so than you can't be wrong! Courageous decision, but not in vain, as you've got that new hybrid job. Having followed you since the very early Astra days, remembering when you first got that DPX polisher from Auto Finesse, I hope the channel stays car/ detail centred.
I did the same a while back, currently working 24hrs a week and youtube on top. Best decision I made even though theres a long road ahead. But as you do, I find filming cars really hard because of our climate in the UK!
I can relate to that so much. The climate really puts a downer on it. Part of my goal for spring is to finish the garage off and build a car port. At least I can try and minimise the climate issues haha.
@@TorqueSteer ahh this makes sense maybe I just got the vibe from were you lived and your job... Everyone assumes JLR when you say you work in Speke Halewood area haha
I worked on the final drop line for 25 years starting on the mk2 escort saloon vans and estates then went into the garage when the X type was launched then when that was finishing Land Rover Freelander Evoque Discoverie 2 finishing just as the evoque cabriolet was being launched quit was a lot better when it was under ford ownership
Thanks. I actually worked at a transmission plant. The data analysis was a bit unexpected but came from some extra training that I did. Unfortunately, there wasn't the opportunity to use it within Fords.
Fair play to you. Life’s to short and needs to be enjoyed while you can…wish you the very best of luck in the new career and look forward to seeing what torque steer 2.0 brings. Total admiration to you for following what makes you happy 🙌🏻😎
Torque steer 2.0 needs the old intro back with the 80s music. Good luck with the new job can't wait to see what this new chapter brings.
Good luck in the new venture mate. Not an easy step quitting your job. I admire you. More guts than me
Thank you :) and thanks for watching
Follow your gut instinct. It's seldom wrong, I've often ignored mine and only later realised I was wrong. 😮
I agree with you completely. :)
Good luck Luke...
Go for it... Enjoying your days is so important...
Time/Work balance is everything...
Thanks, yeah I always thing that passion is the key to doing well in anything.

Thanks so much John and thanks for watching :)
I have been watching your videos for about 3 years now! Good luck! I can't wait
Thanks for watching all this time.

Totally agree. It’s nice to see your own effort equal reward, even if it may be harder.
Best of luck in the nwxt chapter Luke, all the luck in the world
Glad you are happy and well! Need the 80’s intro music though! 😊

Time flies at Fords. Even the last 7 years seems to have gone in a blink. Thanks for your support.
Good luck from me too Luke. You won't regret it 👍
Thank you :)
Well done Luke, life is short, go for it.
Good luck mate.
I couldn't agree more about life being too short. Thanks for your support. :)
Good luck, been watching your channel for a couple of years now. Look forward to your future posts 🎉

That really means a lot. Thank you so much for saying that. Honestly, the audience on this channel is such a nice community.
Hi luke go for it mate time flies by I have been retired from ford's two years next month and am loving every minute good luck for the future and I will be looking out for your videos its Billy off the mt82 rear case .
Hey Billy, I didn't realise you had been gone for so long. I'm glad you're enjoying retirement. Thanks for still watching mate.
All the best to you and your wife. You will never regret your decision, only wish you had made it sooner.
Thank you. Yes, we mostly regret the things we never do.
Brave choice, hope it works out well and good luck
Thank you :)
Watched your videos from the start , trying to flip cars and going bigger .
Just keep the vids coming regularly and the channel will grow.
Thank you :) yes hopefully I can do more of that now
Well done young man, dont have regrets when you get older.
Good luck mate
Thanks John :)
Well done fella, onwards and upwards. I assume you were at Halewood, what did you do there?
Ford haven’t been at Halewood for a long time it’s JLR at that site unless there is still a legacy of when Ford owned JLR before TATA bought the company
Hi, you're correct that vehicle assembly is JLR but Ford do have a transmission plant at Halewood.
I worked within quality for the transmission plant, part of the job involved tearing down and investigating defective transmissions and then installing them into vehicles and then test driving them.
Ford still are in Halewood. JLR is the Old Ford body assembly plant but the Ford transmission plant is still next door.
@@TorqueSteer I stand corrected. All the branding just appears to be JLR. You can still see the first car in the museum to roll off the production line. Before the site and “route 7” there used to be a medieval house and moat now under the transmission site.
Good luck bud

You have the skills to pay the Bills La
Hahah, I like your enthusiasm
@@TorqueSteer Sometimes best to choose your own way Buddy rather than the company way - Good Luck you will do well for sure
Where you in the US when you filmed this?
Yep, Florida was a bit warmer than Liverpool :)
Go with your dream luke
Looks like you have moved to Southport?
Haha I was a few thousand miles further east when I filmed this
Advice I always tell people is better to be at the bottom of a ladder you want to climb rather than halfway up one you don't.
Absolutely , I 100% agree with you :)
Delighted for you. Can wait for torque steer 2.0!!
Thanks and same here.
Hello Luke all the best for your new job and UA-cam.ive done my previous job for 18 years.
Thanks Steven :)
Good luck mate.. I quit my job 3 years ago to do youtube fulltime!
Hey small world! I remember watching your videos when I had my 3 series and needed help fixing it. You're doing well mate, I like your content.

Close. I worked at the Ford plant next door to it.

Thank you :)
i`ll watch ALL your future vids.......................as LONG AS your wife`s in em ...............😍😍😍😍😘😘😘😘🥰🥰🥰🥰
Deal! I'm sure my wife would like that hahah.
I worked in Halewood for 40 years retired in 2014
Small world, I would have missed you by 3 years. What area did you work on?
I worked on the final drop line for 25 years starting on the mk2 escort saloon vans and estates then went into the garage
when the X type was launched then when that was finishing
Land Rover Freelander Evoque Discoverie 2 finishing just as the evoque cabriolet was being launched quit was a lot better when it was under ford ownership
The Mersey is looking a bit different these days 😂
Hahah, it's turned swampy.
Good luck, don't think I ever realised you worked at Ford. Guessing more sales side then if you're moving towards data analysis.
Thanks. I actually worked at a transmission plant. The data analysis was a bit unexpected but came from some extra training that I did. Unfortunately, there wasn't the opportunity to use it within Fords.
