      ⁠@@Plasomusi want to join the Orthodox Church however im a universalist…I Believe everyone is saved through Jesus even the ones who reject him so hell is purification for everyone but the believers will enter heaven first, what’s your view on this ?

      We don't use the Slavic cross in Greece. We use ✝. And this is an American church in New York, FYI.

      Saint Nikolaos in Greece is the patron saint of sailors. The church was built in the end of 19th century by greek sailors who where harbouring in New York for bless and protection from sea danger.

    Shame not on Cedar Street ! This building is too glamorous for a Holy Church ! I preferred the old one where I use to worship!

    In the orthodox church the most important is the priest not be an idiot, and not how the building looks. Only the priest can make eucharisty, baptism, untying prayers from witch spells and demon possesions etc. Jesus Christ said to the apostles (wich were the first priests) : " Igive you the right to untie everything that is bound on earth and in heaven".

      "Eucharisty?" What's that?
      The Apostles were Apostles, not "the first priests." Bishops, priests and deacons assisted the Apostles.

      @@carllucas89 I'm Greek, pal. Do *you* have nothing better to do? There's no such thing as an "Orthodox cross." This ☦️ is the SLAVIC cross. *We do not use it in Greece.* We use this ✝️. Visit Greece and see for yourself. Romania doesn't use it either. Can Americans stop shoving the Slavic cross down our throats?
