Such a beautiful and seemingly calm "Queen" T that I believe is a testament to your care of your tarantulas... GREAT VIDEO!!! ❤️❤️

Id watch putting isopods in with your T. Ive heard cases where the isopods eat thd T when it molts. Look into springtails tho, they do a good job and are harmless.

You made that look really easy. I have 3 old world slings, maybe I’ll try that if they are using a burrow. Though most of mine are arboreal xD

This species live in red lay soil in the wild not coco coir Lol! I don't know who came up with these ideas that all Ts can be housed in coco coir substrate. Sure it's easy to setup and light weight but coco coir mold so damn easily and you will need to keep replacing the substrate constantly just to keep it mold free, plus+ ripping out your own pockets just so you can keep purchasing more and more coco coir for your Ts. Their natural substrate in the wild doesn't mold easily, as a matter of fact, my king baboons are still housed in red clay with some red sand and it's still in good living condition with some cleaner crews like dwarf Isopods and springtails. The only Ts that I know of that can partially live in or around fallen coconut debris surrounded by coconut trees are of the Orphnaecus sp. that live in the Pacific Islands of the Philippines. Other than that, most Orphnaecus sp. that I have found still embed themselves under clay soil not coco coir Lol!
