You can tell the kind of person he is by the way his face lights up when he sees the Gretsch. Then he doesn't just sign it, he plays it, listens to it! An all-around great guy!
You must treasure that more than ever, now!! What a neat experience. When he got that look on his face while taking it out, I knew he was going to play it. A true musician, lol. What a sweetheart. 😊
Such a glorious personal treasure you have there from such a great spirit; you were smiling ear to ear! You’re so incredibly fortunate. All the condolences on his recent passing; at least you have something to forever remember him by. R.I.P Peter Tork 💔
Just saw this and it was such a joy to see Peter's face light up when he saw that guitar! Wish i could have met him in this life! He was so talented and cute too! Always in my heart! RIP Peter! ❤
Thank you this much for the share and I must say seeing your face shows me that this present was made to the right one :) What a nice gentleman he is! So sweet!
I am so happy for you getting your guitar signed by Peter :) I wish that one day I could meet the guys and I would give them a big huge!! ^^ They make my life so wonderful!!
He wasn't tuning it, he was taking the pick from between the strings so he could play it. I keep my pick up at the top of the neck. Yes, he is very very sweet.
This is my jam out guitar, so yes I do play it. It is on the upper left side that does not get touched at all. I will, however, take his advice and varnish the signature. Thanks.
O never got a chance to meet Peter unfortunately. Saw him play live a few times though. He seemed really nice. The 2 guys o have met though are Davy and Micky
I have a You Tube video of me playing it, but pre-signature. I haven't touched it since. I'm a bit nervous. I have 2 other guitars keeping it company at this time.

I love how when Peter would lay eyes on an instrument, it’s like the world fades away and it’s just him and the guitar for that moment
RIP Pete. You were too cool to put into words.
That was the best part. I have a picture of him playing it and another of him hugging me hanging on the wall next to the guitar right now.
Is it still there now?

He's a beautiful soul through and through. He also gives great hugs. :)
Lucky you!!!!
RIP Pete. We'll miss you very much.
Tork seems to be authentic. I think he's great with the fans and I appreciate this clip showing that. Atta Boy Pete!
I met and spoke with Peter around 2001 - nice man - RIP
OMG, lucky you!!! Gotta confess I would have absolutely LEAPED over that table and ended up in his lap!!! What a memory!
He has a beautiful gentle soul.
A great musician and seemed like a great guy as well. May he rest in peace. Glad he signed that guitar and he really seemed to like it too.
He deserves so much more respect than he was given. He could play so many different instruments.
That is so awesome! What a great treasure
Yes. Very cool. It's now the gem of my collection.

I know how special that is. John Entwistle signed my 1974 Rickenbacker 4001 Maple Glow bass.
Too cool, you need to post you playing it!

O never got a chance to meet Peter unfortunately. Saw him play live a few times though. He seemed really nice. The 2 guys o have met though are Davy and Micky
I have a guitar signed by many musicians, but I never played guitar. It's in an acrylic display case, one of the musicians died 6 years ago.
I have a You Tube video of me playing it, but pre-signature. I haven't touched it since. I'm a bit nervous. I have 2 other guitars keeping it company at this time.
Is the signature still on the guitar
Did you ever varnish the autograph like he said? I must know.
❤
So happy you have this footage!! It’s a great thing to have! On a side note, are you aware of who that was standing in line behind you?
He is very down to earth and treats everyone with respect. I wish I could say that about Micky, but I would be lying. :(
Not to excuse bad behavior but sometimes stress and health problems we may not know about could have an effect on how we feel and how we treat others.
I know he was a beautiful soul, when he was taking my $10
If you play this guitar, I hope you don't scratch or smear the sig.
