“This would not happen in Europe.” | Jorge Prado on San Francisco

- Jorge Prado has performed respectably in his Monster Energy Supercross adventure. The adverse weather conditions provided him with quite the opportunity in San Francisco's Bay Area and he grabbed that with both hands - his heat race win will be remembered for months. Here, he discusses that.
Jorge is loving life right now. You can tell he 100% wants to be there full time. He has his feet on the ground too, he knew he wasn’t going to turn up and smoke everyone in a discipline he’s never raced but he’s given a solid account of himself. Seems like most of the American fans appreciate him too 👏🏻
He’s got something 4 Jett and the Premier Class 🚲💨
That was super impressive seeing him jump everything in his heat race win. He gives great interviews and will be a great addition to U.S. moto.
It was cool to hear him praise dirt worx for how they managed the conditions and the track. I hope we get to see him next year for a full season.
I really hope he's here permanently in 2025. He's a great rider, well spoken, and great personality.
Jordo is World Champion. So glad he's here and we get privilege to watch him adapt..Great ride by 111..
Prado is very well spoken. He will be a star when he races the series full time (2025?) He is like a young KR94 🤘🤘
I think it’s safe to say, Americans can respect Pardo for his bravery in coming to race supercross. He had more to lose than to gain.
What a great interview personality, Jorge is. Hope he comes back soon after San Diego.
I've been following him for a while but every time I hear him talk I am impressed by how smart he is.
Prado’s positive attitude and praise for the track builders definitely made me a fan of him. I usually don’t want the Europeans to do good (besides Kenny) but I like Prado’s vibe!
spoken like a true fan of the sport ..oh wait 🤣
¡Vamos Prado! ¡Felicitaciones !
I love having Jorge here, I only wish it was for the entire season! He would likely dominate the outdoor national too.
*#Prado** is building so many fans just with his attitude alone despite being a world mxgp champion & getting a heat race win his second race*
Speaks like a Pro, obviously has the skills. Good Luck young man
Awesome ride good guy good family love to see him soon maybe some outdoors on off dates for mxgp
Impressive 👏🏼💪🏼
What a great guy. I can see nothing but the best ahead for this young man. Not just because of the sheer talent, but also because of his genuine personality and on target attitude. I didn't know much about Jorge until after this season started. He has won my full respect, not only after witnessing his commitment to learn and perform, but also for his well spoken, honest character. I bet his mom is so incredibly proud of him. All the best of luck to you Jorge. Bring it on!
Jorge is fantastic....!
Can't wait to see this guy here full time. Very likeable personality!
I’m not heavily homosexual, but Jorge is fine AF. The entire Prado family is beautiful.
Not heavily? So you are either skinny so light weight or you are gay and just like vanilla sex with your partner? One way a straight male could compliment on another bloke is “Jorge is a really good looking bloke with a deadly sharp personality, he would make a great wingman”..
Key word heavily😮
@@mekg2439San Francisco is not the gay cap of the States, that's actually in Texas, Austin or Houston I think that's what the numbers say. San Francisco hosts the largest gay parade because level of acceptance and it's been the epicenter where the fight for gay rights has been very successful at putting the spot light on the problems and have changed a lot of laws protecting them, etc..
He won a heat race well done Prado 💪
Looking forward to his US career
Jorge is the kind of rider you would always root for American or not! Class act and hope he returns full-time in '25.
at least spell his name right
@@DouweEgbertI did spell it correctly?
@@DouweEgbertpretty sure you’re wrong on that one
@@jamesriccelli6919 great story kid , after you changed it ...
@@DouweEgbert his comment doesn’t say “edit” next to it! Comments that have been edited say that unless UA-cam changed something?
Just now editing mine to see.
Sounds like a good young man.
Fantastic interview
Jorge is a world class rider,no doubt about it.
2025 will be the real deal?
I hope so.
He’s already building a fan base due to being humble.
Nice, he did very well!
He seems humble, I like him. Can’t wait to see him ride in SD
The dude is cool! I’m glad he’s here👍👍🔥🔥
Wondered why he checked up off the gate in the main, makes good sense now!
man if this guy got a full season down the line I could see him being up there with the best
Great to see Jorge have Success. Stoked on him returning to American Moto/ Supercross in the Future.
This guy is really smart and smooth rider. So happy for him
Don’t Leave!! We need you Prado this season
Impressive interview from a very good rider and you can just tell, he is friendly and just happy to be able to ride and get paid for it. And ride it quite well, even in the mud. Jett? taking notes on how to ride in the mud and how to do an interview?
Wow. Easy guy to interview. Ask him a question and just let him go.
second supercross races and already a victory on heat...
nice work for a beginner
Wouldn't be surprised if he raced A2
Great to see him get a heat victory
He is our hope to humble Jett!
I've always disliked the M/X GP champions coming over to America and doing the S/X season. They are M/X riders. None of them were ever willing to tell the teams that as M/X riders with no S/X experience, they would rather do the M/X (outdoor) season as their first experience in America, adding the S/X series only after they've had some time to acclimate to the specific skills necessary to do that with that series safely.
The majority of them ended up hurting themselves riding a series that they had no experience in, thus putting themselves at a disadvantage once the outdoor season came around. It did a disservice to both them and the US fans who didn't get to see them at their very best.
Rattray and Searle both did outdoors only their first year in the USA. Townley also did an outdoor only contract in the US when he returned with TLD.
The majority of MXGP racers come here to attempt Supercross or they would've just stayed in GPs.
Awesome 👍
What a life, traveling the world racing dirt bikes, while making yourself a very comfortable amount of money! Very cool to see. 👍🏼👍🏼
jorge is brave and willing to risk much by following his dream to race supercross in the US. kudos to his employer in supporting him as well.
title Feels alittle bit of click bate ish and it worked lol, but what he was saying was actually a compliment to the dirt worx crew.. Hope he stays and races A2 also before leaving..
I’ll be impressed when he wins an actual supercross main event not a mud bath.until then he’s got nothing
Wow he did what 6 weeks practice and beat load of riders who been doing supercross for years that is not nothing he is a nice bloke and good for the sport wind your neck in
No it’s you that’s got nothing wattsy mate 😂
Me thinks he’ll return in ‘25 for the full enchilada.
Looks like it might rain in San Diego now 😢 but no rain leading up to the race so it should be much more raceable
I think when barcia retires in a yr or 2 prado will come over and be there new 450 rider from supercross and motocross
supercross or mudrcross
Whats with the fom all over their helmets, does this hel stop mud from sticking to the helmet?
Correct.
Jorge prado👍👍
Anyone can win a heat race it's the Main event that counts everybody knows that
DUDE get a camera bro lol
No one seems to discusses how he's the first ever Spanish world MX champion. That's a big deal. Spain and Italy own MotoGP
Красавец так держать.👍✌️💪
Jordo is gonna be barcia replacement
I like! Cool.
