@@MikeGone88 Yeah, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that her coach specifically tells her not to jump all the time to prevent getting hurt. They want to build her body more before going all out. They were playing multiple back to back games too so that brings an even higher risk of injury for someone at her height

The refs have to observe the Shortes's defense from now on. OZ do not just rise up hands, they reach forwards to touch Zhang's elbow or face when she moves. It is fault.

Nah...She can't dribble...Australia showed everyone how to beat that height.
She still dropped 40+ and was there only option on offense. They slowed her down but if she was playing ON that Australia team she would look a lot better I feel like, or really any team where she isn't the only option. Australia did play great though, their offense was unstoppable.
If she could have the ball-handling skills and athleticism or speed of Chris Paul or Kyrie Irving, along with some three-point shooting ability, she would definitely be able to carve out a place in the WNBA

I hope she's been screened for a pituitary tumor. She's the 12th tallest woman ever, 9th tallest confirmed, and tied for 2nd tallest living with fellow Chinese woman Sun Fang. Untreated, the condition is deadly. I know her parents were both tall basketball players, but there's tall and there's record book tall. I hope she has been evaluated and is healthy.

I don’t see her being very successful at a high level unless she gets into better shape. She doesn’t run well and really doesn’t have much skill, at least not yet. The average professional female basketball player is 6’4” and would eat her for lunch. But she’s young so let’s see what happens over the next few years.
She's good. She should do vert jump training, take creatine and do sprint training, calisthenics and stretching to become super athletic. Then she will be unstoppable. It's not easy to be athletic at 7' 3" but if she starts training the things I listed above she would be unstoppable and have an amazing physique too
