I always thought these games and moves were kind of weird. But then I found out this is like Japanese Line Dancing and then I appreciated it more. Line dancing in USA is weird as well. We use more emphasis on legs Japanese use everything.
what does this have to do with line dancing? It's just a dance that follows the meaning of the lyrics. The 6 hand sign in the beginning portrays the mermaid tail. And the leg kicking is like the leisure walking stance of a young kid in a cartoon (walking in a big coral palace). Then the princess part, the wide hands are just like a skirt flipping up. and the rest you can follow the same logic and get the meaning....
