Not to sound like I'm trying to downplay or anything because it was a really slick fight, but how come Malenia didn't do a single Waterfowl Dance? I thought she's guaranteed to do it at least once per phase.

Maybe it's in Malena's code to not do waterfowl if she's parried? At least from my knowledge in the first phase of you drop her health way beyond the thresholds she will not do the waterfowl dance but if she heals back to said ones she will perform it.
