I think the ring light is unnecessary, actually! Especially when you shoot in natural light. When you turned it off it was still really clear and you don't get washed out like you mentioned at the beginning :)

The first step to a no foundation make-up routine is to be tanned or self tanning tbh. Hides uneven skintone, redness and blemishes. Self tanner in the winter has made my morning routine so much faster 😊
@dashita ofure I think the way to go is to be VERY careful and applying a small amount, and spreading it carefully. It’s easier to add color than take away color. Personally I go for a very very slight change in colour because I’m so pale hehe. Maybe 0.5-1 shades deeper than my regular skin tone, people who don’t know me probably thinks it’s my normal skin tone. For my body and sometimes face I usually use a swedish brand called Ida Warg (because I’m Swedish). But for the face I would recommend something that you can use every or every other day and is buildable. I use James Read H2O gradual tan. It works fine, but there are probably better and cheaper brands out there that have similar function 😊
@@chloe-ev3qk yes, that is true I guess. I had a lot of acne when I was younger but I had a treatment with isotretinoin a couple of years ago. Maybe you should check with a dermatologist? 😊
@@chloe-ev3qk ah, ”unfortunately” they seem to do that first and iso is seen as the last resort :( I also got prescibed a topical antibiotic that really irritated my skin (well isotretioin does that as well, but it clears up eventualy).

My biggest problem with make-up why I just don't wear it is I can't use anything near my eyes. If I do I always get conjunctivitis so covering dark under eyes is not an option for me and nor is eye shadow. Lately I've been wanting to wear something though because I'm trying to look more girlie. I'm wearing dresses and skirts more. I've wondered about just wearing a little blush and lipstick. Your video has made me feel like this might be a good option for me.
