As a serving soldier in Northern Ireland at the time of Bobby Sands and the H block this song bring some bad and some good times im glad that we could find peace because Ireland from North to south is gorgeous

I was born and raised in Derry, behind Free Derry corner when it was more than a tourist attractio. But I'm listening to this because I like the fucking song. Please try to keep your petty politics away from letting others enjoy great culture, art, music and most of all great people.

Ok, just one question. Why do Irish people sings this kind of a song on English language? Learn your language, it is the most basic point of your identity. Until than, you will be nothing but the English spit box (this also counts for Scots, and Welsh)

+IRISH LAD Its simple, all those starting school for the first time, learn everything as Gaeilge, learn english as a subject just like French or Spanish......KIds learn in school and the parents will in turn learn off them..................
