The situations of 2022 and 2023 really look similar in some parts. By the way, I must say, most of Russians (i can say it being a Russian and living in Russia) either stand with Palestine or take no side in the conflict. It can be just an anti-NATO act, though personally my thoughts are with the Palestinians suffering from the bombings and shellings. In 2017, I was both in Israel and on the Jordan West coast (counted to be Palestinian). These are just 2 different worlds.

The IDF warned civilians to evacuate the areas they have been bombing. The U.S. would be doing something similar if the cartel was indiscriminately launching rockets into Texas and Arizona. There is always going to be collateral damage and that is an unfortunate reality, but Israel is fighting for their survival against an enemy who is hell bent on their destruction and this is the only choice they have. It may not seem like the right choice to someone looking from the outside who has never had to make a life and death decision, but this is their only option.

I love your music, have shared some of it. Just one question: you say Gaza is a concentration camp. Gaza's southern border is not with Israel but with Egypt. Egypt could easily open the border and allow ANYTHING through - medicine, food, water, fuel, people... BUT THEY DON'T. Egyptian are Muslim and Arab, and they enforce on Gaza the same restrictions Israel does. WHY?
There were 20 trucks that made it through the Rafah crossing about 8 days ago. A drop in the ocean. But the roads inside Gaza leading to that border crossing were previously bombed by Israel and further strikes remain an open threat. Egypt's position is very clear, that the border has to be open for aid. However, Egypt understands that the goal of the Israeli army is to displace Palestinians and push them into Egyptian territory which could also lead to a push to move Palestinians from the West Bank into Jordan. Egypt is worried that if they let them in, they'll never be allowed to return, effectively relocating the Palestinian struggle against Israel from Gaza to Egypt. And that has happened repeatedly to Palestinians for generations. This is the textbook definition of ethnic cleansing. Forcefully moving populations of people out of one area and into another. Also, when that aid was allowed in, it was subsequently bombed by the Israeli military. 10 bakeries in the South of the Gaza strip, the so-called "safe zone" have been hit, and in Nuseirat refugee camp it was confirmed that immediately after a shipment of flour was unloaded by the UNRWA, it was bombed and completely destroyed. These civilians in Gaza have no fuel, food, electricity, or water coming in or out because Israel controls all of it. They are rationing what food they have and drinking rancid water. Healthcare workers are helpless without supplies and patients in hospitals that haven't already been bombed are dying from preventable disease and injuries sustained during bombardments that can't be properly treated. Children are getting limbs amputated without anesthesia. The only humane path forward is to demand an immediate ceasefire.
I grew up knowing that in Ireland the English were absolutely the bad guys, but not really knowing much about the history of the land. The situations of 2022 and 2023 really look similar in some parts. By the way, I must say, most of Russians (i can say it being a Russian and living in Russia) either stand with Palestine or take no side in the conflict. It can be just an anti-NATO act, though personally my thoughts are with the Palestinians suffering from the bombings and shellings. In 2017, I was both in Israel and on the Jordan West coast (counted to be Palestinian). These are just 2 different worlds.

The IDF warned civilians to evacuate the areas they have been bombing. The U.S. would be doing something similar if the cartel was indiscriminately launching rockets into Texas and Arizona. There is always going to be collateral damage and that is an unfortunate reality, but Israel is fighting for their survival against an enemy who is hell bent on their destruction and this is the only choice they have. It may not seem like the right choice to someone looking from the outside who has never had to make a life and death decision, but this is their only option.

I could just as easily ask you "why do you think Hamas has the right to commit atrocities on the people of Israel?" If I did so, you would correctly be offended and say "I don't think that."
My position is that the side which retaliates in defense against a massive terror attack has the moral high ground over the side who target innocent civilians, hide their bases under hospitals, and film and brag about the atrocities they do openly in the effort to commit genocide. And anyone who thinks otherwise is insane, deceived, or evil.
Now, if you think Israel hasn't been careful enough to minimize civilian casualties while they target the enemy combatants, fair enough. But I'd like to hear a better suggestion than "warn the civilians days in advance the bases are about to be bombed, shut off utilities in those areas to incentivize moving, and provide a path out for civilians" because that's already what they're doing. Hamas actually tells their own civilians to stay so that they get killed when the bombing happens, which they can then use to tell the western media that Israel bombed civilians.
Please tell me how Israel is supposed to fight terrorists who use their own civilians as a meat shield. And don't tell me "surrender" because they've already tried ceding large amounts of territory to Arab states, and that never worked; the Arab states will never stop short of complete Jewish annihilation, and have openly said as much on multiple occasions.
I love your music, have shared some of it. Just one question: you say Gaza is a concentration camp. Gaza's southern border is not with Israel but with Egypt. Egypt could easily open the border and allow ANYTHING through - medicine, food, water, fuel, people... BUT THEY DON'T. Egyptian are Muslim and Arab, and they enforce on Gaza the same restrictions Israel does. WHY?
There were 20 trucks that made it through the Rafah crossing about 8 days ago. A drop in the ocean. But the roads inside Gaza leading to that border crossing were previously bombed by Israel and further strikes remain an open threat. Egypt's position is very clear, that the border has to be open for aid. However, Egypt understands that the goal of the Israeli army is to displace Palestinians and push them into Egyptian territory which could also lead to a push to move Palestinians from the West Bank into Jordan. Egypt is worried that if they let them in, they'll never be allowed to return, effectively relocating the Palestinian struggle against Israel from Gaza to Egypt. And that has happened repeatedly to Palestinians for generations. This is the textbook definition of ethnic cleansing. Forcefully moving populations of people out of one area and into another.
Also, when that aid was allowed in, it was subsequently bombed by the Israeli military. 10 bakeries in the South of the Gaza strip, the so-called "safe zone" have been hit, and in Nuseirat refugee camp it was confirmed that immediately after a shipment of flour was unloaded by the UNRWA, it was bombed and completely destroyed. These civilians in Gaza have no fuel, food, electricity, or water coming in or out because Israel controls all of it. They are rationing what food they have and drinking rancid water. Healthcare workers are helpless without supplies and patients in hospitals that haven't already been bombed are dying from preventable disease and injuries sustained during bombardments that can't be properly treated. Children are getting limbs amputated without anesthesia. The only humane path forward is to demand an immediate ceasefire.
I grew up knowing that in Ireland the English were absolutely the bad guys, but not really knowing much about the history of the land.
