Also if any company says you’ll lose data, they aren’t repairing your device they are replacing it and I wouldn’t trust them.
Great video! Mine was very slightly different... as the one I was fixing is the A03s A037G/DSN and motherboard/cables only very slightly different, but all the relevant parts in the same place! I didn't have any alcohol so I used my soldering station heat gun attachment on 100 degrees C and applying to the (broken) glass-side to help release the battery and also used the same heat gun settings to lightly go over the power/volume buttons to help release the adhesive. Luckily I already had mobile phone double-sided tape from various glass replacements in the past to help me stick down the vibration motor and the connector for the power/volume.
Nice!! I'm glad to hear it. That's a really good method to use for battery removal if you don't have alcohol, and not directly heating the battery is perfect technique. Glad it worked!

Phones typically have three microphones, one in the charge port, one next to the earspeaker, and another facing out with the cameras. It shouldn’t matter too much, the spring connectors on the board only touch a very small point, and with how large (by comparison) the gold pads are, it should still make contact. Have a safe place to secure the phone in case it catches fire or explodes and a method to put out the fire. Try not to breath in the fumes. 2. Follow the order in the video and you will only have to purchase a replacement battery in the case it does go wrong.😉

Wow, I'm surprised you explained what takes others 15 to 20 minutes of annoying dubstep music and no tutorial, in 3 minutes. The music you had was fine, very concentrated music like the how it's made show. I'm going to be doing this but I need a new fingerprint sensor if I can find one 1⃣ separately.
You should be able to find them separately! Why use many words and long video when short does good? And I definitely took a lot of inspiration from How it's Made! Thanks!
@@TapticDigital yes sir, about $20 plus the shims and tools. Have a heating gun like a blow dryer but it's for softening adhesive glue and what not.
I'm checking more of your videos, excellent work putting these together brotha!
@@rickearl1956 same here, the heatgun I have at home is more of a construction job type of heatgun, but hot air is hot air, and it works! Thanks for checking out the videos, hopefully you find something else useful!
So what are the chances of therebeing some kind of Spyware hidden in this after market part?
@@WoodchuckNorris.8o roughly 99.999% certainty there is no spyware in a replacement screen. The screen controller chips are encoded to only perform that one job, and have such low memory space they couldn’t hold anything capable of being malicious. It’s very difficult to get spyware on a device
Thank you, I appreciate you ✊🏿
what should you do when the battery gets damaged when taking in out\
Always replace it, if there is any rip, tear or major bend, get a new battery. Even if there's nothing immediately wrong, it can lead to the battery swelling up over time or leaking harmful gasses. Cover the damaged area with electrical tape before disposing of it (at the proper recycling place).
@@TapticDigital do you know where i could get one off of. this has been the second part I damage fixing the LCD for a coworker
@@Master_Tiger_44 I'd check Injured Gadgets but you can usually find some on Amazon
Is this screen compatible with an A037M?
It is not, the M uses a different frame unfortunately
My phone is samsung galaxy A03s sm-s134DL. And I need to replace the screen. Is this the same screen as the one in the link you provided. I'm trying to purchase one but I wanna make sure it's gonna work on my phone first? Thanks
As long as yours is a US model that part should work fine. It would be a bit more expensive, but you could also buy another A03s (I believe the model you gave is from Tracfone, so Walmart should sell the phone) and swap your main board into it.
Oh yea I'm debating on whether to just buy another phone or replace the screen. Cuz I mean I've never replaced a screen before but as long as I follow the video it seems pretty easy. I just wanna be sure I get the right screen. But the website that you have in the link is out of stock 😪
@@diamondlaw3846 ah rats, I went ahead and edited the description and added a link for the part from Amazon for a similar price. You can also check Injured Gadgets as a good reliable vendor.
What was the price of the parts and where to get ?
My model number is A037W but it does not seem to be available anywhere; is it the same frame as another model?
Not that I've found, unfortunately in your case it may be best to locate a display only without a frame
Good to know. Do I need a particular model number without the frame or do I just need to worry about the dimentions? Have any videos detailing the steps for that? I am definitely not as experienced in this field of repair, so any help is really appreciated!
@@butterflygroundhog the display should be the same for any model of the A03s, so no worries there. You'll likely need some better glue for attaching the display though, check out my video on the OnePlus 7 Pro, I replace the display only and they are very similar in how it's done.
@@TapticDigital Many thanks for the heads up; I will keep all of this in mind!
Modelo de la batería? No llego a apreciarlo en el video😢
I have this phone and it needs fixed could you fix it
How do I remove the battery without alcohol?
@@CarelUnderco heat! Get that phone nice and hot and the adhesive will soften right up. In a pinch you can use a hair dryer on the screen (keep it moving around) for a few minutes and it should help quite a bit
Where can I buy a Android samsung A3LS screen
I literally smashed my screen last Night and it looks absolutely horrible thank you ! Now I can my screen
You sure can! It's cheaper than a new phone, and you still have all your data!
@@TapticDigitaldo you know if there is replacement panels I could buy somewhere? Mines got dinged up
where can i get a replacement screen for the US model?
Link in the description. I'd also recommend Injured Gadgets website, though it appears they only have the A037M model at the moment.
I need help. I bought mine at Walmart, $57 out the door and broke the screen 2 hours later.
I feel like id mess that process up, if i where to mail you my phone and pay you, would you be willing to fix my phone for me.
I don't offer mail in repairs just yet, I'd recommend checking some local shops with decent reviews!
I accidentally blew up my dads phone... I took everything out and let the battery be the last part anddd yeah I saw a spark and was like oh no 😭 and yeah it blew up completely
Ouch, well at least all you should need is a new battery! They are pretty cheap thankfully.
And how much is the cost
Punctured my battery. 💥💥 It's been years since I need to use my fume hood! The smell is going to be in my house for days... but no fire damage.
Don't be impatient with the battery. Let the alcohol do the work!
You popped the spicy pillow! No Bueno, be careful, and get lots of fresh air. Lithium gas isn't super fun.
Advice for other repairers:
1. Safety first. Be aware that working with a power source, in this case lithium ion batteries, has a potential danger. Have a safe place to secure the phone in case it catches fire or explodes and a method to put out the fire. Try not to breath in the fumes.
2. Follow the order in the video and you will only have to purchase a replacement battery in the case it does go wrong.😉
@@TapticDigital Indeed. Even though I had it enclosed quickly, smoke was all around.
I would like to say that the price of shipping is outrageous and amazon prices are not better I ordered form aliexpress ill see if its better
skipped over the only part i needed, the sim card tray orentations
It only goes in one way, and should take almost zero effort to slide in.
Well instructed...to the point with a great sequence of operations Hb@kb,mob,inc.
Nice
Amazing easy way to get an understanding on how to replace the screen with some of your own mentality at work. Thank you so munch for this very informative explanation video.
Plus if dead by flach repairs
opens like a book, my ass.
You know, now that I think about it, my ass opens like a book too!
Bro your cutaways don’t help bruh I’m here at the volume part and idk where to even pull or where I do it
Drip some isopropyl alcohol on it and start picking at any corner, slowly lift
it’s such a pain in the ass to get that fingerprint reader to set right closing the back 🙄
Sometimes adding a little piece of foam or tape helps put pressure on it and keep it in place, but I agree!
I just tried it, I should've paid someone,
Hi
Hello!
Bro I destroyed my Samsung A03S screen and watching this is low-key terrify
It's not too terrible, I'd say the battery is the hardest part. But you could always take it to a shop! Repairs for this one are usually around $115
Just seeing this shit gives me Antiety, don't just Replace it from the Front instead of Unscrewing all those Bolts in the back
Batch that was not a screen replacement
It has a new unbroken screen now so 🤷
so should i get a with or without frame as @khalidmundwiller5456 said its pretty hard to remove the power button cable
I still recommend with a frame so you don't need to mess with glue. The button is easier to take off if you soak it in isopropyl for a second
@@TapticDigital thanks
