I am so glad that I’m not the only person who prefers less is more option. I only use a hair butter and curling creme in my hair.
Just a sea salt spray and a the flux potion by oway. Never been loving my wash days more😊
I just use a serum, leave in conditioner, and curling defining cream, boom! (I sometimes diffuse and finger coil) But my routine is wayyy more detailed. More product ways you’re hair dow a lot.

@@karine8738 it doesn't for me. I usually use it to sorta refresh my hair though. It's not home made I use the one by rahua. It's an all natural brand and the seasalt spray smells so good. But Oway has one to and I recently switched to using their products and love them so might try their seasalt spray. Oway is an organic skin and hair care brand from Italy. Give them a go.
It's weird bc wash days are literally the only days i like, no matter what i do i cannot for my life, keep my definition after day 1, so literally hate going out if it's not on wash day
EDIT: Guys I posted this almost a year ago! Thanks for all the suggestions but I gotta say most of them I either already tried them, or can't find the products in my country. I'm glad to say my curls are doing better because I've been incorporating a lot more protein in the routine!
I still like my wash day the most but my definition after is getting way better!

try sleeping with a satin pillowcase with your hair in a pineapple! also if it helps lightly spray with water the morning after to refresh!

Ruweyda Farah yeah i do all that too, but it doesn't work, the pineapple actually ruins my curl more bc i never have my hair long enough, i've tried a bonnet too and it's better but it still doesn't hold, like my curls get super stretched out after i sleep:(

@kailie it rly depends on you and ur hair type, and for me i got the same results from a bunch of products versus two! i experimented a bunch to find my favorite products and now i save money! :)

okay so the wrapping hair around the denman brush thing changed my life- and i dont even use a denman brush just a wide tooth brush and it makes so many pretty ringlets which is so difficult to get on my hair since my hair is thick and squishes the curls at the bottom ugh ily

okay anyone who hasn’t tried this de man brush technique of using it basically like a curling iron - TRY IT!! my hair is really bleach damaged and I’m trying to revive my waves/curls again and omg this method seriously makes the biggest difference for me
I love the attitude of less is more! Definitely more effective (at least for my hair, its 3b) but using loads of products is not only a waste of time and money but it just creates more build up. I just use a leave in conditioner and a cream, or a mouse and it works great. Loads of products just make my hair weighed down.

Thank you so much....I tried this routine today and I have had the best hair day since I started my curly hair journey back in March...My hair will always start off looking ok and then as the day goes on, it just looks worse and worse...I think my problem is that I was using too many products that were weighing my hair down.....I was using a leave in, then curl creme, then gel. By just using a gel, my hair was so shiny, defined, frizz free, bouncy, and the curls have stayed in tact all day. Again....thank you so much!!!!

I’m struggling with learning how to define my curls more and less frizz. Deff gonna try some of this! I need to figure out what works best for me because I get good curls first day and then they just fall really quick. Too much moisture maybe?
